    El contexto como fuente del currículo de la Institución Educativa de Gambote, Zona Rural de Arjona – Bolívar

    Through this research, it was possible to design a proposal to the contextualization of the curriculum of an educational institution located in a rural area of the department of Bolivar (Colombia). In the development of this research, was performed a characterization of the environment in which the educational institution is located, assuming the environment from its systemic vision in order to find the identity elements thereof; similarly it proceeded to the curriculum analysis to identify environmental elements addressed from the institutional proposal. Subsequently, the findings product characterization phase and corresponding phase curriculum analysis were compared and identifying areas to be strengthened from the curriculum according to the needs and characteristics of the environment focused on the characterization, the results became fundamental material to establish the contextual guidelines that must be incorporated into the curriculum in search of their contextualization and relevance, also, the guidelines established were formed in the column that supports the proposal designed.

    Sport allows us to develop values acts as dynamic creating factor in a social environment. In school, sport activities are implemented to favor good social behavior through the strengthening of moral values applied to student who were selected after detecting in them social issues and for showing an interest in sport, who were also included in a sport activities program, such as, indoor soccer, kitball, paddling, surf and handball, to work towards the strengthening of respect, responsability, solidarity, tolerance and friendship. At the end of the process transformation will be seen in the school social environment through the practice of sports in students, answering the investigation question: How will the strengthening of moral values through the practice of sports will optimize the social environment and behavior in the institution. To develop this process, instrument such as interviews, participant observation, guided observation and documentation resources, which are derived from the used methodology, investigation, participative (I.A.P.) of qualitative carácter evidencing progress in the behavior of student related with their understanding and practice the tolerance, respect, and solidarity

    El trabajo es, a grandes rasgos, un balance y valoración de la experiencia de un programa de cultura ciudadana implementado por la Alcaldía Mayor de Cartagena de Indias en los años 2008 a 2011. Muestra la manera como se dio la apropiación de unos valores ciudadanos impulsados por unos agentes sociales en situación de vulnerabilidad y cómo surgen otros en medio de la transformación, reconocimiento y visibilización de esos agentes sociales, reconocidos por la ciudadanía como “Vales del Almirante Padilla”.

    Historias de vida de los estudiantes de 10° y 11° de la Institución Educativa de Fredonia como estrategia didáctica para la enseñanza de la matemática

    This research sought to recognize in the life stories of the students of the IE Fredonia of Cartagena, the possibility of developing didactic problems for the teaching of mathematics, taking as the main reference the stories of lives, recounted by its participants, in order to know their experiences and transcendence of a didactic nature during their schooling up to the tenth and eleventh grade. The research process was carried out, applying from a qualitative approach and the interpretative type for the detailed analysis of the narratives, compiled through direct interviews, thus demonstrating the common and specific places in the participants, faced problems susceptible to "mathematically" in their homes, with their family, companions, who in some cases were successful in the application but allow them to reflect on the role of mathematics in life. As a result of the above, the design of a proposal to build mathematical problems based on the daily experiences of the participants, directly associated with the curricular standards, on which Colombian education is achieved informs teaching and learning processes in different degrees of training. These results make it possible to affirm in a coherent way the importance of life experiences in the teaching processes of mathematics and to re-signify the role of the teacher as a mediator, in the face of the complexity of the knowledge that is transmitted in the classroom, adjusting the basis of didactics in the transmission of knowledge.
