    We performed this research taking as a sample the student population, which works to perform a sampling on the management of their finances and the knowledge they possess about the financial market and capital to be able to have more opportunities for a stable future financially. As overall objective is to explore on the knowledge possessed by the students of the university of San Buenaventura in the management of their finances, and as they ensure economic stability, so that was chosen as a research instrument the survey that were applied to the 61 students of the faculty of business studies, was found as main results that although students possess a basic knowledge in financial matters to be racing related, errors can occur in decision making in the management of debts and very few use the mechanisms for savings and investment, which offers the financial system, these prefer to stick with conventional methods and non-formal, thus not contributing to the creation of a financial

    The actual labor market is highly qualified and demanding, Accounting professionals have a great responsibility and commitment with their education and the performance in labor area. It is important that the students and graduates count on the accompaniment of their university before the labor market insertion. The aim of this project is to identify the accompaniment strategies or training programs that Universidad de San Buenaventura (Medellin) offers for the graduates. It is implemented the descriptive methodology because it used the interview to recognize the strategies or programs of the Universidad San Buenaventura for to provide support to students and graduates for selection process. These programs have a low impact among the students but the graduates know the tools of the University for the Job training.

    The SMEs in Colombia have a large participation in the country’s economy, which proves to have a great growing potential, as well as has a wide variety of manufactured products, but unfortunately these companies are faced with barriers that do not allow its internationalization process to be successful, so they fail in the attempt. This article has the objective to determinate those factors that prevent the internationalization process, describe the challenges that face Colombia in terms of competitiveness, innovation and logistic in the colombian SMEs. The methodology used for this was the documentary review in the database and the bibliographic references. As a conclusion, it attempts to explain and help the SMEs to get into the use of tools that allow them to have a successfull internationalization process of their products or services

    La transición demográfica y las expectativas de los adultos mayores acerca de los seguros de salud que tienen contratados con Suramericana S.A

    The accelerated population aging is causing vast changes in the composition of the age pyramid to the point to get it inverted, thus generating great challenges for health insurance companies like Suramericana S.A., which will have to design products and coverages to meet the care needs of the elderly. For that reason, analyzing the expectations, needs and interests of the elderly insured at Suramericana S.A. in the city of Medellin in the health products, will allow the company to develop and implement strategies to mitigate the impact of the accelerated demographic transition that face the city in the coming years. Some impacts that generate this phenomenon for the company are the high costs of the policies and the increase of the elderly population at risk and chronic diseases costs.
