- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoDiseño de un proceso de almacenamiento para una empresa distribuidora y comercializadora de productos para la construcción y el hogar ubicada en el municipio de Cali(Universidad de San Buenaventura, 2018) Hurtado Salas, Álvaro Fernando; Ortiz Paz, Jonathan Alexander; Hernández Montoya, Javier IvánThe present work is done after seeing the need for an improvement in the storage process in the company DISTRIBUCIONES PVC, since it faces problems in the fulfillment of available merchandise, missing merchandise, all because the location of the merchandise is not the correct and when the customers access to take the products of the company are presented nonconformities and delays that affect both service and effectiveness. It is noteworthy that the inadequacies in the control of the merchandise in its innate process both since arriving at the company, is located or stored and subsequently dispatched, does not have a defined control and this leads to the goods remain as they say figuratively in the air, so it is vital to structure and as main objective: design a storage process consistent with the needs and expectations of satisfaction in both customers and the company. In the development of this work of degree was made a review of the literature where we find similar problems that lead to similar restrictions in storage and inventories but in other environments, in which we find solutions with methodologies of optimization, programming and simulations Taking into account all our needs we implemented a model to optimize the process and better the quality of productivity both in service and in the operations associated with personnel and the company, we took into account several factors such as associated processes, information system, requirements, structure the wine cellar and the staff. Finally we analyze the results and collect all the information with a simulation of the storage process for all SKUs, hoping to generate satisfaction in the company's service and productivity, response times, location times, obsolescence.
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoDiseño de un sistema de control de inventarios para el almacén de accesorios y consumibles para centros de montaje y venta de neumáticos en la empresa Rubber Vulk Colombia S.A.S.(Universidad de San Buenaventura, 2019) Benitez Barbosa, Giovanny Andrés; Hernández Montoya, Javier IvánThe present work proposes a design of an inventory control system for the accessories and consumables warehouse for tire assembly and sale centers in Rubber Vulk Colombia SAS, this initiative arises in the first place from the analysis of the existing units in the inventory in order to calculate the inventory accuracy between the units that are displayed in the system vs the physical ones in the warehouse. Second, the way in which references are organized in the rooms belonging to the winery, seeking to improve mobility, visualization and reduce fatigue mainly of the warehouse assistant. Thirdly, in the analysis stage, when searching for historical data trying to solve the two previous parts, there was a lack of data collection of logistic processes in the company, for which purpose it was decided to propose and develop the engineering tools for inventories in an empirical way. The proposal focuses mainly on generating a real inventory policy that provides good practices in inventory management, guaranteeing a safety inventory and maximum stock levels without affecting service levels to customers in the inventory replacement cycles. For the development of the proposal, a background study is carried out on inventory control designs and a literature review to develop an ABC classification taking into account its financial relevance in sales, among other factors such as rotation on a monthly basis. Additionally, with the help of the monthly demands of the aforementioned references (accessories and consumables), a forecasting system is developed that helps reduce uncertainty when planning the supply, since it is possible to determine consumption behavior knowing if you are demands rise, decrease or if its fluctuation remains constant over time. However, to finalize, a policy of review of inventories is proposed that adapts to each product and its demand, thus obtaining control in the quantities of inventory.
They have a low level of industrialization and tend to be chaotic environments where disorder prevails, which affects critical points in the supply chain, such as warehouses. In a company focused on the production of footwear in an artisanal way, there were problems in the handling of the products inside the warehouse. Causing difficulties to make the picking of the materials requested in production. Every day in the warehouse there are problems such as: not knowing the locations of the products, not having enough space for all the items, difficult information management, lack of layout. All these factors and more greatly affect the performance of the production chain. The objective of this work is to redesign a storage system. In order to propose different methods, tools and alternatives that allow you to improve and optimize, the times and routes of preparation of the inputs, reductions of 15.6% in times and 49.5% in journeys are achieved. Current space destined for storage that is 15.30 mt ^ 3. A new distribution is proposed that increases the storage area by 24.2%. The management of their stocks and the distribution of materials in shelves for later use. Using a descriptive and explanatory type of research with a quantitative approach, a new methodology was proposed, focused on the distribution of the layout in the warehouse. In accordance with current regulations, optimizing the space and circulation of the merchandise added to procedures for the reception of M.P., instructions, formats and templates that provide information for a subsequent control of inventories. It is proposed that with the proposed improvements an increase in storage capacity be achieved, as well as the reduction of shortages and surpluses to internal customers, reduction in time of enlistment and improvements in the route of order picking.
