El objetivo general de esta investigación es describir el desempeño cognitivo de niños con bajo rendimiento académico en tareas o actividades no escolarizadas. De manera específica pretendemos: comparar el desempeño cognitivo de los niños tanto en tareas no escolarizadas como en tareas escolares formales propuestas por la escuela, las cuales involucren el lenguaje, matemáticas y resolución de problemas. Esta investigación está sustentada desde la perspectiva de la cognición situada, por lo cual se propondrán tareas contextualizadas a niños de bajo rendimiento académico para dar cuenta del funcionamiento de sus procesos cognitivos en otros contextos, acercándonos a una evaluación cognitiva más fiel, ya que las pruebas psicométricas al igual que las evaluaciones escolares suelen centrarse en los productos y no en los procedimientos, ni en sus utilidades. Los resultados de esta investigación dan luces sobre cómo el psicólogo puede ampliar su evaluación cognitiva tradicional con ayuda de una evaluación más ecológica, para trascender de los contextos educativos y psicométricos, acercándose más al contexto social de los sujetos.

In the city of Cali (Colombia) he has been venturing into therapeutic centers for a few years, in which horse-assisted therapy, therapy or equine therapy are used as a complementary measure to pharmacological, educational and physiological treatment, in order to improve the well-being and / or quality of life of patients with different conditions such as cognitive disability, physical disability, people residing in geriatric centers, children with learning deficits, among others. Its efficiency and effectiveness have been demonstrated through research conducted in areas such as geriatrics (Muñoz, Máximo, Valero, Atín, Varela & Ferriero, 2013), psychiatry (Chardonnens, 2009), and education (Geist, 2011), which benefits both physical and psychological. Given this, the present study aims to describe the potential benefits at the socio-adaptive level of hippotherapy from interviews with families who take this therapy for a family member, as well as the hippotherapy coordinator of a neurorehabilitation center in the city of Cali and one of the therapists who works in this place. The findings include, emphasizes the discourse of the parents and improves improvements in their psychomotricity, static and dynamic balance, toning of the musculature, postural alignment and increase in lung capacity. In turn, they improve sensory integration, promote thick psychomotor coordination, promote the walking pattern, strengthen their affective bonds, reduce their stress, anxiety, regulate their emotions, improve their interpersonal, social relationships and observe benefits in their basic aspects of verbal and non-verbal communication. The three children improved their self-esteem and confidence in them. Learn to handle their fears and face novel situations. Likewise, the interviewees reinforce themselves in the basic psychological processes: attention, their behavioral aspects: they learn to give and to the orders, norms, limits, work in a team, wait turns. However, in cities like Cali it has not been accepted or formalized, neither at present, nor in the evidence nor in the risks, nor in the doctors, nor in the patients, nor in the necessary costs.

It explores with regard to the forms that employ his users to communicate, narrate to himself same and represent corporally. This investigation based mainly in a theoretical study of a problem that comports the deepening in a subject of psychological importance (Identity and social networks). Nevertheless, it attended to the virtual ethnography of the page Facebook, with the end to recognize the type of publications, his content and relation with the identity. Between the results, found findings like the form to configure a virtual identity or cyber identity, which is mediated by the conception of a new culture, recognized by some authors like cyberculture, since it supposes a modification in the traditional forms of interaction, between which include forms to relate, communicate and express that have attained overstep the borders of time, the distance and the place.
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoSignificados construidos por jóvenes del Estado colombiano en relación al proceso de egreso del ICBF hacia una vida autónoma e independiente en la ciudad de Cali(Universidad de San Buenaventura, 2019) Moreno Rojas, Francy Nicole; Bueno Ramírez, Erika Alexandra; Herrera Marmolejo, AlejandraObjective: Describe the meanings constructed by young children of the State in relation to the preparation for graduation towards an autonomous and independent life. Method: Qualitative descriptive-interpretative study, based on semi-structured in-depth interviews with three men and one woman, between the ages of 21 and 23 who are part of the graduation program at the Colombian Family Welfare Institute (hereafter referred to as ICBF). Each interview had an approximate time of 40 to 70 minutes. Results: The data obtained allowed to understand that young people make a positive assessment of ICBF and assume it as a valuable process and with a set of academic, work and personal opportunities. They point out the opportunity to study and work as part of their goals as a central element, as well as elements that allowed resignifying past experiences and improving their quality of life. In addition, they refer to the accompaniment of family supporters and the support networks established by young people as fundamental. Conclusions: The preparation for graduation represents for the young people to assume an independent and autonomous life. In this sense, the ICBF represents for young people the possibility of building a life project, where the agency of them as subjects of decisions and empowered of their process. It means for young people, "their home-their home", beyond a state institution, because it represents possibilities for personal and professional fulfillment. Rescued from the life project program, the importance of family meaning given by young people, similarly it is common for young people to interact spontaneously with peers, creating positive strategies on interpersonal relationships, gaining greater maturity and responsibility thanks to the built outside of institutionalization.
