    The Bazurto market is the central of supplies of the city of Cartagena. It is an area with great urban dynamism, full of shops and a lot of culture. However, it has been perceived by the majority of Cartagena as a problematic, insecure site and as a source of contamination. Its location is privileged, because it is in the center of the city, and in its vicinity is the marsh of the Quintas; In addition, we have an architectural milestone known as “the market building” whose state of deterioration is increasing. The present investigation uses a methodology that goes from the general to the particular to find a problem as a space between a lived situation and a desired situation, identifiable identification through the systemic scales: macro, meso and micro, to which proposals will be made. so-called products, whether urban or architectural. The project’s approach arises from the variables studied at the site, based on the city’s POT as the main axis of the legal framework. This thesis aims to expose an advanced basic scheme, defined by the authors as CAITIC: interactive articulator center of technology, innovation and culture, together with a comprehensive proposal of urban renewal for the rehabilitation of the sector, which you read They would give a new and better character to the area.     La investigación realizada, muestra el déficit de equipamientos recreativos en la cabecera municipal de Barranco de Loba, Bolívar; que mediante el análisis de las cadenas causales que describen su problemática, y apuntando a los nudos críticos se ayuda a generar soluciones concretas. Estas van encaminadas a la creación de modelos de espacios recreativos que no solo fortalezcan los aspectos culturales y educativos sino los económicos y productivos de las comunidades donde se apliquen.

    Competencias gerenciales para la sostenibilidad en la gestión de residuos de la construcción y demolición RCD

    This work of managerial competencies for sustainability in solid waste management (RCD). Its objective is to describe the methodology for managing materials derived from construction and demolition in this way mitigate the environmental impact of said solid waste in cities. Given the problem of solid waste generated by buildings in their process of construction and demolition in the city of Cartagena, it can be said that it is practically a need to have a real use and manage this waste for the different areas that need it. In this article, the different works that have been carried out and their solution tools to dispose of RCD solid waste from construction derivatives and their contribution to the solution of different environmental problems are evaluated in a documentary way. Having said the study problem for the investigation, the qualitative research approach was used, at the descriptive level and once the study problem was certain, an exploratory documentary-bibliographic investigation was started.     La Ciénega de las Quintas es un cuerpo de agua que posee y tiene su propia dinámica como fuente o punto de interés por parte del sector comercial, que ha actuado como receptor de disposición final de los residuos arrojados por la constante actividad que genera el Mercado de Bazurto, por lo que, en la actualidad, es evidente su sedimentación y deterioro partiendo de la premisa del estado en que se encuentra y la poca intervención que se le ha dado al mismo, lo que ha generado la pérdida del paisaje y del cuerpo de agua. Este proyecto busca determinar acciones que fortalezcan las oportunidades que ofrecen los cuerpos de agua en especial LA CIÉNAGA DE LAS QUINTAS; en pro de direccionar estas fuentes atractivas que ofrece el territorio en cuanto a su ámbito urbano-espacial y paisajístico que no están siendo utilizadas como parte fundamental del desarrollo de la estructura de ciudad que se ha consolidado. En los aspectos relevantes del proyecto se opta por dejar de lado los procesos drásticos de las intervenciones urbanas que buscan trasladar las problemáticas de la ciudad en vez de otorgar una solución a estos; soluciones que potencialicen y resalten los aspectos positivos y relevantes de cada espacio o lugar a intervenir

    In a globalized world, cities receive all the environmental burdens that force local governments to rethink serious strategies, the way we live together today. Conceiving and producing sustainable cities is the urban or architectural form that implies a series of changes, above all political and economic. The construction of civil and urban works are the factors that most drive a greater impact on the environment and what most are concerned about as they affirm (Alavedra, 2018) “climate change, greenhouse gases, and the possibility of that drinking water, which is 12%, runs out.” The study population is the reference of the works and articles that have been selected by project management, sustainable architecture and sustainable economic model in Colombia as their research topic. The sample framework included five works and those found in the bases of data (random or backup). In the construction of civil works in Colombia, the quality and the possibility of a healthy and sustainable space must be imposed as ordered by Decree Law 2811 of 1974. The objective of this article is to analyze the application of the fundamental principles adopted by architecture to become a sustainable architecture through project management. Among the recommendations, it is assumed that in Colombia old practices continue to be used for the issue of sustainability in civil and architectural works, it is necessary to manage project management for these new practices in innovation and thus use regulatory instruments on architecture. and sustainable urban planning.

    Gerencia de proyectos y factores que afectan los espacios públicos en Cartagena de Indias

    Public space in Cartagena is one of the most vulnerable architectural and community spaces due to the insensitivity and ferocity of tourism and in addition to the lack of citizenship that fosters this weakness. However, leadership is needed when projecting new ways of developing the city in favor of public spaces and that leadership arises from the architectural need to find sustainable, pleasant and natural principles for the enjoyment of citizens. The main hypothesis of this article looks for the qualitative approach to the problem, and looks for the relationship between the deficits of public space in Cartagena de Indias and the incidents that the management and protection plan of the historic center PEMP has had. Among the objectives of the article is to analyze from project management the deficits of public and architectural spaces in the city of Cartagena de Indias. This indicates the conviction that the article will contribute to the problem of the deficit of public and architectural space in the city of Cartagena de Indias.

    La gentrificación es entendida como el fenómeno resultante del desplazamiento gradual de los habitantes con bajo poder adquisitivo de una zona, debido al aumento de los costos del suelo, producto de la renovación y rehabilitación de éste. Esta investigación presenta un acercamiento al fenómeno de la gentrificación en el corregimiento de La Boquilla, resultado de sus dinámicas urbanas, por medio de un método deductivo, de lo general a lo particular. En primer lugar se realiza un análisis del caso de estudio y su problemática a través de un flujograma situacional, a partir de éste y en conjunto con el planteamiento del sistema, se delimitan las escalas de aproximación, las cuales determinan los tres productos que responden a las demandas del territorio, previamente identificadas; y que se sustentan en el marco teórico, referencial, histórico y legal.

    This thesis work is carried out in Cartagena de Indias in the Barrio Olaya Herrera Sector Ricaurte from the current living conditions of the population, which proposes to revive the concept of public space as a valuable component in the transformation of a territory of Vital importance to green areas, recreation areas, furnishings, protection zones or ecosystem borders and road infrastructure, which must be accompanied by a set of dynamics and uses that give meaning to these places, with a tendency to impact on growth Of a community from the urban and architectural point of view. In the project of restructuring of public space is implicit to attend one of the main problems that is the flood, a very important factor within the proposal that will give an added plus and will be a determinant of design in the quest to increase the quality Of the inhabitants of the sector, through an urban treatment that will serve as a pilot project to be implemented in neighborhoods with similar conditions linked to an architectural proposal articulated to the specific public space that seeks to emphasize the development social of a community.

    Modelo urbano de articulación para la red distrital de bibliotecas públicas en la ciudad de Cartagena de Indias. Caso Palmeras – Fredonia – Olaya ST. Puntilla

    Modelo urbano de articulación para la red distrital de bibliotecas públicas en la ciudad de Cartagena de Indias. Caso Palmeras – Fredonia – Olaya ST. Puntilla Cartagena de Indias, es una de las 10 ciudades más importantes de Colombia, tiene una extensión de 609.1 Km 2 , de los cuales 551.1 Km 2, representan el 91.14% del territorio, correspondiente al área rural y los restantes 54 Km 2, equivalentes al 8.86 %, conforman el área urbana (1), donde habitan 1.001.755 personas según proyección DANE 2015; Actualmente cuenta con 1 5 bibliotecas públicas, 7 de ellas en área rural con presencia en 6 corregimientos: Arroyo de Piedra, Punta Canoa, Pontezuela, La Boquilla. Bayunca, y Pasacaballos; y las 8 restantes en la ciudad, 4 clasificadas como distritales y 4 comunitarias. Hoy las bibliotecas deber ser escenarios para la lectura de todo tipo de textos, incluso audiovisuales; un espacio activo de encuentro de ciudadanos y comunidades en torno a la cultura, la ciencia, la educación, el divertimento y el intercambio universal de conocimiento” Castellanos, G. (2010); Contrario a esto, las bibliotecas en Cartagena nacieron como resultado de las gestiones comunitarias, adaptando viviendas y/o edificaciones para su uso, causa que refleja por ende el deficiente funcionamiento de la Red de Bibliotecas Públicas, déficit que hace referencia a dos aspectos importantes: COBERTURA Y PRESTACION DE SERVICIOS. Ahora bien, El presente trabajo enfatiza en la cobertura, dimensión directamente relacionada a la movilidad y articulación de la misma con la comunidad; se estudia las problemáticas sociales, culturales, y económicas de las biblioteca, diagnostico estimado en una investigación proyectiva inicial, es por ello que surge la importancia de desarrollar un modelo urbano que conecte y potencialice los servicios hoy prestados como respuesta a la necesidad de nuevos espacios de interacción y promoción cultural y recreativa en la ciudad.

    Módulo arquitectónico de biblioteca itinerante para la ciudad de Cartagena de Indias

    The culture in each one of its manifestations is one way to tackle the social inequality that has the city; for its part, the reading habit and the interest in knowledge are the most direct tool against the illiteracy and school drop-outs. This research presents an approach to this situation, focusing on the Public Library Network and the problematic that is exposed from the first years of creation of these equipment in Cartagena de Indias; the project is articulated through a methodology that goes from the general to the particular and that implements the popular planning method Altadir, MAAP. As the first instance is a situational analysis through a problem tree, where you made the research objective and the scope is delimited through the system and scales approach, That is supported by the frameworks for the appropriate development of the products. In the macro-scale, it performs a diagnostic of the RBP in the city and the variables necessary to understand the dynamics that are between the network and the population; in the meso 12 scale it is performed an urban design through established criteria and finally in the micro scale is performed the main proposal of the research project, an roaming librarian module, MOBI. With the conjunction of these products is seeks to respond to the problem raised, based on the community’s need and the characteristics necessary for the efficient operation of the module.

    This paper presents the appropriate actions to address the design of the cruise port of Cartagena de Indias with an emphasis on the transport connections between the port and the touristic points of interest of Cartagena. This paper approaches the problem of traffic and the deficiency in the cruise port design, using the Altadir planning system and developing this to the Macro, Meso and Micro scales with the aim of investigating the current problems. Moreover, the paper proposes solutions that reduce tourist travel times and improve the quality of reception, resulting in an architectural project for that purpose
