- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoEl desarrollo de las funciones ejecutivas en los niños y las niñas de 4 a 5 años de edad pertenecientes al Club Sabatino Pequeñines de la Universidad de San Buenaventura Sede Medellín(2017) Atehortúa Rivera, Santiago; Gil Monsalve, Yesenia; Palacios Ortega, Leidy Carolina; Román Betancur, Gloria ElenaIn order to analyze the way, the Club Sabatino Pequeñines of the University of San Buenaventura Medellín favors the development of executive functions in children with 4 or 5 years of age, a study was done. In which we identified, reviewed and characterized the pedagogical approach of the Club and educational intervention practices of training teachers in charge of that group. In addition, executive functions were assessed in children applying targeted games: Hanoi tower and arithmetic exercises, in order to combine evidenced in theorizing, practice and its impact on children. To this end, we selected of the group four of them, two boys and two girls, having chosen as a research method qualitative approach and as strategy multiple case study. The selection was made consciously seeking to selected children were very different to encompass the study elaborate. Within research we found the need to triangulate information about three knowledge areas: pedagogy as a base area and psychology and neurology as support areas. The confluence of these fields allowed solving different problem situations that occurred in the investigative process. In particular we found that the term executive functions have a direct relationship with multiple notions and concepts that dynamic agents of the Club Sabatino Pequeñines recognize, although there is a gap between what is formulated and what is in practice.

The main objective of this work was to review the corporations that serve rural preschool education in Antioquia Near East, from a tracking information based on the documentary approach to what has been rural education in Colombia. For the purpose various interviews were conducted with researchers and experts who are engaged in this field of education; then based on the results of these experiments it was concluded. Educational institutions in rural areas are designed to meet their basic needs of children in the field, meeting the requirements of context and making appropriate adjustments to achieve broad coverage and effective education; so that they can access better opportunities and a better quality of life. It is important to mention that education is determined by successive governments, and therefore no one can guarantee its continuity after the term of office, which leaves education and unresolved programs, which causes in people with a tasteless until new government plans are established.
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoFactores de exclusión emocional en los niños y niñas de 5 a 6 años, en la institución educativa Diego Echavarría Misas(2016) Cadavid Villegas, Laura Victoria; López Zapata, Elizabeth; Román Betancur, Gloria ElenaThis degree work was based from a key overall objective of which was to analyze the factors of emotional exclusion that prevent integrate the child and the child of 5 to 6 years in the Institución Educativa Diego Echavarría Misas, based on hermeneutical methodology implemented through investigatory as were the direct and indirect observation and interviews, guided from informed consent by the children and their guardians techniques. Thus from research techniques strategies are implemented through a filter activity and three sessions observed worked in five boys and a girl, ages ranging between 5 and 6 years. Through these observations it was possible to identify the factors of emotional exclusion boys and girls in this age group mentioned above, depart from a lack of social skills that the subject has been acquired over the years, from the structures social, ideologies and breeding patterns, which are imposed by the significant people in the child's life and the child, as is the family, classmates and teachers. Thus considering evidenced and raised from the results, the importance of the teacher as a model boy and girl should strengthen personal relationships and intra from life skills, thus highlighted generate more pleasant relations from educational spaces.

This is achieved through the elaboration and implementation of a research project that it allows the development of scientific thinking skills with both the teacher's assistance, as a mediator and facilitator, and trained people in the subject of school vegetable gardens. The proposal is carried out by means of the intrinsic case study methodological approach. This process allows to the comprehension and reflection about that subject through a direct interaction with the children on the application of diverse activities, developing each scientific thinking skill.

This appear from a macro project which is set out to four headquarters of San Buenaventura University, but this project has been focussed only in Medellin’s headquarter, like the result of educational process identification that the University provide to students. The main objective of this project is recognise the professional identity of the Bonaventuriana early childhood educator of Medellin’s headquarter based on social representations, The project also has like purpose to do a constructive critique to pensum which is offering by the University in the program. The project depart of different techniques like interviews and life stories which are apply on tenth semester students, graduates and employers, to gather appropriate information to analyze , reaching to get the objectives.
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoPrácticas de crianza como necesidad cognitiva-emocional(2016) Correa Mestra, Emperatriz; Pérez Moná, Daniela Alejandra; Zuluaga Carvajal, Kelly Andrea; Román Betancur, Gloria ElenaThe present research is carried out by means of an intervention on kids aging from 3 to 5 years old in the kids center Foundation Las Golondrinas at Caicedo, Medellin, with the purpose of finding the existent relationship on the way that the upbringing practices have been being applied, how they can generate cognitive-emotional needs on the kids and how the different upbringing styles influence on the integral development of the kid in every single context. In order to guide this research, it was decided to use different strategies that allow to link up the participation of the children, the families and the educators through reflexive workshops which based on several activities enable the direct and indirect observation, field diaries, interviews, and life stories, in that way, it is possible to analyze the gathered information in order to draw conclusions and findings of the research group regarding the made process. It was possible then, to determine that there is indeed a direct relationship between the implemented upbringing practices and the creation of cognitive-emotional needs such as: insecurity, anger, inattention, rebellion, and inability to socialize with their peers, which are all generated by the family due to the fact that they apply upbringing styles according to the circumstances, most of them based on threats, abuse and deauthorization among parents.

The proposal was carried out through the methodologic approach of participant observation, which made possible to make a reflection, from the direct interaction with children that were part in the execution of the different activities performed.
