Based on a pilot test applied to basic codes referenced within those stipulated as classification codes A.This study is focused on the DMAIC methodology, which consists of 5 stages (define, measure, analyze, improve and control), which will be carried out in full compliance with the proposed goals. At each stage of this mythology all variables are quantified and controlled, using statistical tools seen in the Lean Six sigma diploma. It is concluded that many variables exist that impact the good administration of the inventory and it is necessary to control each of them.El abstract es el mismo resumen pero en idioma inglés. - PublicaciónAcceso abiertoDiseño de un modelo para la reducción del tiempo de ciclo en la atención al cliente del plato Alas X6 en el restaurante bar ROUTE 66.(Universidad de San Buenaventura, 2017) Rendón Gil, Paola; O`byrne Lozano, Mauricio; Rueda Rendón, GabrielThis project was developed based on a proposal that reduces waiting time for the Alas x 6 dish from the ROUTE 66 ROCK COLOMBIA S.A.S restaurant that was discovered on January 2 2016 to December 31st 2016. During this time we were able to identify the problems that ultimately delayed the dish about 29-39 minutes. Due to this the company had to close the kitchen area 1 hour and 45 minutes earlier than usual. This generated dissatisfaction and inconvenience for the clients and the possibility of receiving additional gain of approximately $40.169.376. The DMAIC methodology was used to carry out this project, which consists of five phases (DefineMeasure-Analyze Improve-Control) that allowed identifying the needs of both internal and external clients, and to later calculate the average time of care customers in the Alas x 6 dish and find the causes that generate the high preparation times and the multiple complaints and customers complaints about the delay of their order.
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoDiseño de un plan de mejora para la reducción de defectos en el proceso de confección en la planta de producción de la empresa GRUPO OCTUS S.A.S(Universidad de San Buenaventura, 2018) Muñoz Cayapu, David Alejandro; Torres Aguirre, Juan Sebastian; Pérez Vergara, Ileana Gloria; Rueda Rendón, GabrielThe aim of the present work is to design an improvement plan for the reduction of defects in the confection process in the production plant of the company OCTUS SAS, based on the DMAIC tools of the Lean Six Sigma methodology, in order to reduce the defects that are detected when producing the different types of garments. Considering this, the percentage of day defects was taken as a measurement variable, based on the requirements established by the company. The costs directly affect the company due to the defects that are generated; in fact, the imperfect units must be reprocessed and recovered in an additional process causing additional costs. Due to this, it is decided to evaluate each of the alternatives solutions proposed in this project to reduce the percentage of defects 2.3% having the current level at 13.17% and positively impact on the operating costs of the company. As well, the alternatives solutions was standardized to ensure that the percentage of defects continues decreasing at the end of the project.
