    Aplicación de dispositivos móviles en la medición de los niveles de radiación ultravioleta y su validación en el distrito de Chulucanas región Piura Perú

    Se denomina App a una aplicación de software que se instala en dispositivos móviles con la finalidad de facilitar al usuario la consecución de tareas, operaciones o gestiones del día a día. La presente investigación desarrolla un análisis sobre la eficiencia de las aplicaciones móviles en la medición de niveles de radiación ultravioleta en el distrito de Chulucanas, con el objetivo de verificar la confiabilidad de los datos obtenidos y fomentar una cultura de prevención a la sobreexposición solar en la población chulucanense para evitar enfermedades relacionadas a la radiación UV. La metodología empleada considera la información procedente de tres aplicaciones móviles previamente seleccionadas, World UV, Uv-Indeks y NoTeQuemes descargadas gratuitamente. La toma de datos es realizada en tres puntos georreferenciados del distrito de Chulucanas que son, ciudad de Chulucanas, caserío Chapica Campanas y caserío Papelillo, la medición se efectúa cinco veces al día cada dos horas, iniciándose a las 8:00 a.m y culminando a las 4:00 p.m, por un período de un mes. Los resultados obtenidos indican la influencia horaria y diaria sobre el desarrollo del nivel de radiación ultravioleta. En los sectores observados se determina que la hora de mayor impacto ocurre al medio día solar, en cuanto al tipo de aplicación móvil más adecuada se considera a UV Indeks por ser el de mejor respuesta de acuerdo a los resultados obtenidos en la bibliografía consultada.

    Aplicación móvil de información turística para la promoción de los destinos y actividades turísticas del corredor Antioquia – Choco

    The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, in an initiative to increase the economic, cultural, social and environmental development of the country, launched the project of 12 tourism corridors in the country. These corridors present high advances in all regions, allowing the enhancement of tourism content strengthened with the training of tourist guides. The comprehensive training of the actors in the tourism chain will allow for a more competitive and better-prepared sector. This work will focus mainly on the proposal of a mobile App that offers information on the different tourism activities that take place in the Antioquia-Choco Corridor and that allows the municipalities that make up this corridor to promote their tourist destinations. Nowadays, having a mobile device has become indispensable for people in their daily lives, making it easier for any person to access multiple mobile applications. For this to have accurate information of these municipalities that make up the Antioquia - Choco corridor to have a good recognition of each of the destinations that make up this tourist corridor. The mobile App will become an essential tool that consolidates important information for visitors who come to enjoy the tourist sites of these municipalities that make up this corridorThis project offers a mobile application that allows to have at hand all the necessary information required by tourists about each of the tourist sites of the different municipalities that are part of this Antioquia-Chocó road.

    Aprendizaje móvil: una alternativa para el desarrollo de la habilidad de escucha en inglés.

    El propósito principal de esta investigación era identificar la incidencia del uso de una aplicación móvil en el desarrollo de la habilidad de escucha en inglés con estudiantes de grado noveno y undécimo del I.E.D Rodolfo Llinás en Bogotá. Se seleccionados dos grupos experimentales de cada grado para trabajar con la aplicación móvil (123 estudiantes) y dos grupos control (61 estudiantes). Se hicieron mediciones para identificar el nivel de desarrollo de la habilidad de escucha al inicio, en la mitad y al final del proceso. Se analizaron los resultados y estos evidenciaron un incremento del 41% en la habilidad de escucha en los estudiantes que trabajaron con la aplicación móvil. De igual manera se evidenció un aumento en el nivel de motivación.

    In this project preferred by Colombian operating systems are identified, the various aspects for which the people of our country lack constancy in reading, how concerned is Colombia on issues such as lack of interest in reading books, taking into account different governmental references, specialized companies to technological research, among others. A prototype where he will assess whether the method is effective to increase motivation by reading a specific population will be designed. It is an explanatory, qualitative and quantitative research.

    Diseño y programación de una aplicación móvil para grabación binaural

    En el proyecto se evidencia el desarrollo de una aplicación móvil que permita la grabación de audio de micrófonos in ears, para la obtención de sonidos binaurales. Se evalúan diferentes parámetros de los micrófonos como sensibilidad y patrón polar del arreglo; por otro lado, se hacen pruebas de la aplicación con un grupo de personas que retroalimentan su experiencia con la aplicación y se miden los diferentes tiempos que tomaron para realizar ciertas actividades, por último, se hacen pruebas a un grupo de personas para determinar cómo localizan los sonidos subjetivamente.

    The digital transformation is trending nowadays in colombian companies, yet they still lack of the knowledge, capacities and required resources to face this fourth revolution. The current managing generation of colombian companies is passing through a transition process from the baby boomers and millennials with very different mind sets. This is the reason why the digital transformation is not going the way it should be inside the companies and it definitely goes much further than a simple digital product (website, mobile app, software) as a tech habilitator so that it can create value for users. The purpose of the present work is to analyze if Colombian companies are prepared to adopt the necessary changes to be able to make a digital transformation, offering efficient channels that optimize the operation and make it more accessible for their customers. The idea is to highlight which should be the knowledge, capacities and resources that they must gain to achieve this project

    The accelerated growth that mobile devices with Android Operating System are having, is mainly due to their multifunctionality and portability, which has made them an effective tool; focusing on the world of online business. However, working with mobile devices confronts companies with the loss or theft of information, because of the misuse of the devices. This is why the development of the research seeks to implement a mobile device manager from a unified terminal manager to improve security in mobile devices of an online sales company. Outside of this, the research yielded results in the convenience it has for companies to manage their mobile devices, both corporate and their employees from a fixed point; this by taking advantage of the UEM (Unified Endpoint Management), because it allows the combination of multiple functionalities of MDM (Mobile Device Management), MAM (Mobile Aplication Management) y EMM (Enterprise Mobile Management).

    Augmented reality (RA or AR for its acronym in English) is the system that consists of increasing the perception of reality through the implementation of virtual elements. The adaptation of the model of objects in third dimension (3-D) to the traditional software engineering model requires the implementation of a methodology, which for this case is under the development processes oriented to allow agile iterations. The software engineering that is applied to the development of augmented reality mainly in mobile environments. However, this tool can be used in Mobile-D, creating applications with requirements for corporate environments. The development of applications of augmented reality was carried out by methods and models without standardizing, for this reason it is wanted to implement a software engineering to guarantee good practices in the development of applications

    Prototipo de aplicación de Realidad Virtual para la emulación de entrenamiento en caso de sismos

    Virtual Reality (VR) is a technology that has been growing for over years, but only recently it has become more popular among people. Research on this topic has highlighted the benefits it can have in educational techniques and training. Moreover, a series of research projects have been carried out to study the efficiency of this technique in learning the basic survival protocols by a user. On the other hand, the country tries to make the population aware of the necessary precautions that must be considered before and after an earthquake. The techniques currently used lack interactivity and/or experimentation that an emulation in a virtual reality application can offer, through the selection of options. The purpose of this project is to develop the prototype of a virtual reality application for Android devices on the Unity platform, that can be used with an HMD (Head-Mounted display) to project a low-poly virtual environment in which are performed a series of scenarios related to situations that may arise during and after an earthquake, and emulate the results obtained depending on the user's response.

    Currently the city of Medellin has several centers and animal foundations to improve the quality of life for animals through adoption, daily, these centers are approached by people looking for the possibility of including a pet in their homes, they must go through a process in which it is determined if they are qualified or not to have the animal, However, in many occasions, adopters make the decision to adopt without a deep and conscious reflection about the commitment they are going to assume with the animal, having as a consequence the abandonment of these pets after being adopted, increasing in this way the number of animals in the streets of the city. An analysis of the different aspects and commitments that people must take before making the choice of adopting was made, including: the space, the time available, the money that must be invested to supply the needs of the pet and ensure its wellbeing. To solve this situation, a service was developed that is present in the different phases involved in the adoption process, allowing users to adopt through an application that generates a match with a dog from a foundation in the city by creating profiles, these profiles are created by asking questions related to the lifestyle of the users and the characteristics of the dogs that are in the foundations, the service in turn provides assistance for the adaptability of the dog in its new home.
