The aim of this quantitative, non-experimental and descriptive research paper is to describe the attitudinal patterns (positive-negative) of sports and physical activity in college students. The population was centered on college students from three different careers: Architecture, early childhood education degree, and psychology Likewise, an intentional sampling was included and two major instruments were used: the international physical activity questionnaire (IPAQ) and the attitudes scale towards physical activity. The results of the research point out to a correlational relation between: the degree and the level of physical activity and gender differences; pinpointing a key risk factor, the postponing of physical activity due to academic obligations without undermining its importance on professional development

To understand this, it was necessary to know how they feel and what they think about the use of erotic material in her practices.This research was guided by a qualitative approach, and the design was through case studies.The population under study is made up of three participants who are in different life cycles: the first one is married, the second one lives in free union and the third one is single, only one of them has children.This research is supported by authors such as Giddens (1995) "with the transformations of intimacy", Aguirre (2013) "with attitudes", Jong (2016) "on erotic material", among others.The results show a certain ambiguity condition between what the participants think, feel and their behavior in relation to the erotic material, mobilized -among other things- by the existing duality between sexual pleasure and what is allowed in their practices. In this way, Factors such as generational and political influence what they think and feel, even if it is not what they want.
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoCaracterización del desarrollo cognitivo de niños con síndrome de down y las actitudes de los padres hacia la condición de su hijo(Universidad de San Buenaventura - Cali, 2015) Caviedes Molina, Melissa; Solarte Quevedo, Carolina; Ramírez Pérez, Martha LucíaAcceptance of a diagnosis such as Down Syndrome, is for parents a slow process with different stages that make up such fear, uncertainty, anxiety, denial and finally assimilation process the child's condition. According to John D. Vallejo Martínez (2001) parents of children with disablities that prevent feelings permeated understand the situation and often don´t know what to do about it. They feel a series of natural reactions to the negative aspects of limitation, thus resulting in a primitive defense against psychological distress. Therefore the aim of this research was on the one hand characterize parental attitudes towards the condition of their children with disabilities, in this case with Down syndrome and identify the level of cognitive development of these children ages 6 and 7 and thus an interpretation of each variable without establishing some correlation. To this end, they participated in the research eight families whose child of 6-7 years of age had been diagnosed with Down syndrome. Data collection was obtained through a survey of attitudes through Likert scale on parents and measurement of cognitive development was through the ENI test aimed at children.
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoCaracterización del perfil emprendedor del estudiante de las facultades de administración y afines, adscritas al Capítulo Oriente de la Asociación Colombiana de Facultades de Administración (Ascolfa) y a la Red de Investigadores (Riaco), fase I(Universidad de San Buenaventura - Cali, 2012-01) Albornoz Silva, María Jenny; Parra, Gloria AlmeidaLa red de investigadores de Ascolfa-Riaco, conformada por las universidades adscritas al Capítulo Oriente, y la Facultad de Ciencias Administrativas, Económicas y Contables de la Universidad de Santander (UDES), tienen gran interés en contribuir con el presente proyecto al desarrollo social y económico de la región, aportando a las instituciones de educación superior estrategias para incrementar actitudes, valores y capacidades frente al emprendimiento, en los futuros empresarios, como agentes de desarrollo socioeconómico y con alto potencial de creación de empleo. En la primera fase del proyecto se identifican las características emprendedoras de los estudiantes y con base en ello se propondrán, en una segunda fase, las estrategias de formación. Posteriormente, en la tercera fase se evaluarán los efectos de la implementación de las estrategias mencionadas, en respuesta a los objetivos y principios de la Ley de Fomento a la Cultura del Emprendimiento. Por estar involucrada la comunidad académica-investigativa, se espera que los resultados impacten en la región al estimular la actividad productiva con la creación y sostenibilidad de empresas competentes. La aplicación del instrumento de recolección de información se realiza a estudiantes de las diferentes universidades del Capítulo Oriente.

The emotions and their control are recognized and developed from childhood and are influenced by the closest context. The current work has the goal to study the relationships of children with their pairs and the adults, as an approximation and academicals contribution to children’s emotional development in ages of 5 and 6 years in transition grade. The population in focus belongs to “Fe y Algeria” educational institute in Popular #1 neighborhood, with the participation of 10 children in education process, in which their interpersonal and intrapersonal abilities and management of different situations in academic and social life were observed.

Cali, 2019) Ospina Arias, María Angélica; Guzmán Rosas, Verónica Andrea; Moncada Galvis, ConstanzaThe objective of the present investigation was, to set forth the attitudes of the health professionals and the hospital clowns of the city of Cali, regarding the Laughter Therapy, taking it into account as an Alternative and Complementary Therapy. A qualitative study was carried out, by means of thirteen semi-structured interviews, taking as sample nine health professionals (doctors, nurses and psychologists) and four hospital clowns. It was found that Laughter Therapy is known in the field of health, as a job that hospital clowns commonly do, with the objective of ensuring the whole wellbeing of a people of different ages and in various clinical states, through laughter and humor; helping to reduce the psychological, physical, social and emotional symptoms of each person and reduce the dehumanization factor of health care. Therefore, as a conclusion, it is vital to emphasize the importance of integrating the Laughter Therapy into the health professional’s attention and considering it a supporting complement to Conventional Medicine; however, there is little interest in this topic and in general in the CAT, by the health system, the health professionals and the Colombian society. This is due to the lack of knowledge and value given to the emotional aspect of a hospitalized patient and insufficient evidence of long-term changes in patient’s health.
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoTransformaciones críticas en los estudiantes del Programa Caminando en Secundaria 6°-7°, que generan la implementación de jardines verticales en la institución educativa Alfonso Upegui Orozco durante el año 2019(2020) Pavas Ocampo, Lubin; Arias Orozco, Edgar de JesúsThis research intended to know the critical practices and attitudes at the environmental level presented by the students of the Alfonso Upegui Orozco Educational Institution, located in Robledo-Pajarito and its possible potentialization or modification in the pro-environmental habits of the students, attending to the non-reduction of green areas in their sector; Due to the growth in the demand for housing solutions in the city and especially in this area, through actions such as the planting and care of vertical gardens in the Educational institution, as a mechanism for the protection of these spaces which are vital for the organisms. The population for this research was a community who presented diverse practices individually they were between twelve and sixteen years old; Besides, besides, the Educational Institution mixed, sixth and seventh grade, in the program called “Caminando a la Secundaria “Also, some of them presented characteristics such as: migrations between countries, forced displacement, consumption and distribution psychoactive substances, cutting, dysfunctional families, among others life and social dynamics. After carrying out research and pro-environmental projects with populations who present such marked characteristics and even segregation. It is possible to have favorable results in an academic, educational and environmental level in order to highlight aspects which scholars often do not talk about in academic environments.
