    Descubrimiento automático de equivalencias en esquemas de bases de datos relacionales

    La mayoría de las organizaciones en la actualidad cuenta con múltiples aplicaciones de software que permiten un manejo muy propio de sus respectivas bases de datos, lo cual es un verdadero reto a la hora de integrarlas en aplicaciones heterogéneas. Tarea que tiene muchos procesos: inicialmente, se identifica qué aplicaciones se desea o se necesita integrar, después se ubica la información común y se crea un mapa de equivalencias entre los diversos atributos y, finalmente, se especifican los mecanismos de sincronización. Para ello, este trabajo plantea, mediante un modelo flexible y con base en los trabajos de Li y Clifton (1994) y Rizopoulus, la utilización de algoritmos genéticos para identificar los conjuntos de parámetros que ofrezcan mejores resultados a la hora de generar equivalencias en esquemas de bases de datos relacionales.

    Diseño de una herramienta para la gestión de derechos de autor de una pieza fonográfica, mediante la transcripción automática de melodías, usando Music Information Retrieval

    By the end of the 80`s and early 90’s, the very first investigations and tangible products from MIR (Music Information Retrieval) were released. MIR would be an interdisciplinary science, that would take charge of extracting musical information from digital processing of its signal; the possibility of giving to a computer a piece of a song, and this computer finding its tempo, harmony, melody, music scale, seems to be impossible, and not only from musical field, from engineering it also could extract each instrument from a record, find applied processes within the mix, discrimination between speech and music, among others. The social and commercial impact extends itself to generate playlists from the data rendered by the computer. By that time, the most significant reaches for this new science was not applying it on a list of audio files hosted inside a local computer`s hard disk, but taking it to the internet to create a freer data base that would allow the access to a millions of music files. In this degree work, multiple MIR methods will be investigated, and used to fragment and analyze the audio signal through mathematical autocorrelations, Fourier and Hilbert transform and parabolic interpolations, extracting musical information, such as beats per minute and musical notes from signal spectre to transcribe a melody automatically. This final product will serve as a tool for musical piece registration on Sociedad de Autores y Compositores de Colombia, as it is the legal identity of a piece.

    Diseño de una metodología de extracción de información de rutas de despegue y aterrizaje de aeronaves para la elaboración de mapas estratégicos de ruido aeronáutico en aeropuertos

    This project proposes a methodology for the extraction, debugging and storage of flight path data in orderto make strategic maps of aeronautical noise at a given airport and to be able to establish the impact thatthis has on an area to be evaluated. This methodology will be evaluated on the Olaya Herrera airport inMedellin, Colombia.The data extraction was done through the Fligtradar24 page by means of an automation code using theweb scrapingtechnique. (digital tracking on the web), which allows to extract the flight paths made ina given airport and a set time window. This information is debugged so that it contains only the datarelevant to the simulation of aeronautical noise and geo-referenced in the ArcGIS software to determine azone of influence. These trajectories are then grouped by direction of entry and exit, resulting in variousaverage routes, and finally exported to the SoundPLAN software to enter the aircraft capacity and carryout the aeronautical noise simulation in the day and night periods.As a result, an aeronautical noise map was obtained based on real flight operations, where differencescould be appreciated in comparison with the 2018 maps made by the Metropolitan Area of Valle deAburra. This methodology has the advantage of extracting unofficial and real information from the flightsof any airport in the world. However, it is limited to the payment of a subscription to the platform andpost processing of spatial data in a GIS.

    Modelo MRP en empresas de servicio

    Through the material requirements planning (MRP) model, with the main objective of offering a more practical, precise and disciplined approach to determining the material requirements of the company, it is intended to develop a dependent demand model, thanks to the help of a computer tool, so it is decided to use Microsoft Access 2013, creating a database that better supports the planning in service companies. Therefore, an investigation is made on the different problems that are present in this sector, and through the MRP models taken as an example, these adequate solutions were observed that allowed to help a better control of the different involved elements of bad planning, being able to fulfill in organizations or manufacturing companies meet the needs strategically proposed in the medium term, both those requirements both the customer and the interests of organizations. This is how this MRP model for service companies can facilitate planning processes, with the creation of an MRP model for this sector with the main elements of dependent demand planning, achieving greater efficiency in the delivery activities of service

    Población en situación de desplazamiento en Antioquia. El papel del enfoque de derechos en los aspectos técnicos para el diseño y medición de indicadores. (parte I)

    Este artículo, expone los resultados y lineamientos metodológicos derivados de una investigación realizada por el Observatorio Departamental de Desplazamiento Forzado de Antioquia (ODDIF) para estimar el estado del Goce Efectivo de Derechos (GED) de la población víctima de desplazamiento forzado en el Departamento. Esta investigación fue realizada en respuesta a los Autos de Seguimiento y a las órdenes impartidas en la sentencia T-025 de 2004 de la Corte Constitucional. El Auto 116 de 2008, estableció los parámetros de medición a adoptar por parte de los entes territoriales para rendir cuentas sobre la garantía de los derechos de esta población. Con el objeto de ofrecer elementos de análisis tanto para las instituciones como para las organizaciones de la sociedad civil, tanto nacionales como internacionales, que analizan y siguen el comportamiento de las situaciones socioeconómicas de las víctimas del conflicto armado en Colombia, en una serie de cuatro artículos, se cubrirán tanto la metodología de medición como algunos de los resultados hallados en el GED de Antioquia. En esta entrega, en particular, serán expuestos el marco normativo del informe, el enfoque teórico de los indicadores tratados y las principales consideraciones técnicas y metodológicas para su medición. A manera de resultado de investigación, en esta entrega del informe se señala las diferencias -tanto en las metodologías como en las cifras- que hay en la medición de la situación sociooeconómica de la poblacion en situación de desplazamiento realizada por el DNP y la medición de esta realizada por el Osbervatorio.

    Técnicas utilizadas en la gestión de costos en la planeación y seguimiento de proyectos en las organizaciones de Cali - Colombia

    This research is part of the project << implementation of management techniques in the areas of project management in organizations >> Professor Ronald Rojas Alvarado Specialization in Integral Project Management Industrial Engineering Program at the University of San Buenaventura Cali. Its purpose is the identification of the different techniques used in cost management in the planning stages and monitoring of projects in organizations of Cali-Colombia. The methodology used was a descriptive quantitative approach with a descriptive cross-sectional non-experimental design. The data collection was performed through the generation of a base of physical, digital data consulted literature, and through the development and implementation of a survey of people involved in project management in organizations established in the city of Cali; the information was obtained by physical documents and websites. This research determines the technical area costs used in project management and casts actual data on its implementation by those involved in project management in organizations of Cali-Colombia, concluding that the meetings and expert judgment were the tools used by respondents, and earned value technique in the follow-up and control was the tool that gave better results.
