- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoAnálisis de conectividad estructural en el corredor kárstico del oriente antioqueño : un análisis exploratorio para el manejo ambiental del territorio(2019) Martínez Castaño, Daniel Augusto; Pérez Garcés, HelenaBiological corridors are those linkages that connect two or more remnants of one original habitats within a studied landscape. For example, they tell us about how forest patches can be connected in a fragmented matrix in order to allow wildlife flow throughout their habitats in an evaluated landscape. Thus, these kind of GIS explorations become relevant in conservation projects or in spatial planning. Also, connectivity can be seen from two non-excluded perspectives: functional connectivity, which focuses on how plants or animals move between natural habitats in a landscape; and structural connectivity, which only calculate how natural habitats can be connected in the evaluated matrix. Here I present a structural connectivity analysis in the karstic corridor of eastern Antioquia, in order to define which sites of this zone are better for conservation purposes, and with the interest to bring GIS tools for the environmental corporation of this zone. It is expected that this kind of studies provide a baseline information for other explanatory or scientific studies in the zone, as well as giving some basic tools for other academic studies in biological corridors
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoEco – Hotel Sonsón(2021) Aristizabal Botero, Ana María; Villegas Díaz, Francisco GilbertoSonsón is part of the migratory routes of the birds that come from Canada and Europe, in addition, the variation of thermal floors (5) gives the possibility of having a greater coverage of species, therefore, more research field. Its moorland was recently declared a protected zone by the ONU (2013), one of the reasons for this mention, is the above. This project therefore emphasizes the research and conservation of biodiversity, allowing its guests to have a close experience with nature and its different forms of life. The project consists of 5 modules unified by two natural bands in which there is an open exhibition of orchids and shrubs.
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoImaginarios de los niños y niñas 5 a 7 años sobre la sexualidad de la Institución Educativa Francisco Miranda seccional Julio Arboleda(2019) Berrio Londoño, Natalia; Díaz Cortés, Sara Lucia; Tobón Marín, Alejandra; Cárdenas Guzmán, Mariela del ClaretStarting from the background, there are few research that have sought to understand the imaginaries that boys and girls have about sexuality. Therefore, the overall objective of this research is to analyze the imaginaries that boys and girls have about sexuality from the imaginary of teachers, and that way, knowing how much the teachers intervene on this process. And for getting results, it inquires both, the students and teachers imaginaries about sexuality to be able to explain them; making an intervention in the educational institution Francisco Miranda - Julio Arboleda with a total sample of the population of 16 children and 4 teachers, using a methodology of qualitative character with a hermeneutic approach. The results obtained with the application of the techniques, yielded very valuable and definitive data for this research, providing a solution to the problematizing question posed where it was identified that the teacher’s imaginaries influence on the construction of the children imaginaries about sexuality, but it is in the relationship with their peers, their family and the different contexts where such construction is taking place, they are building it according to what live outside the institution
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertonfraestructura Verde. Articulación del componente natural y artifícial. Corredor Ecológico Zona Noroccidental. Unidad de Conservación Ambiental de Pedregal(Calle Puerta, L., & Acosta Puerta ,J.A. (2020) . Infraestructura Verde. Articulación del componente natural y artificial. Corredor Ecológico Zona Noroccidental. Unidad de Conser vación Ambiental de Pedregal. (Trabajo de grado Arquitectura). Universidad de San Buenaventura Colombia, Facultad de Artes Integradas, Medellín, 2020) Calle Puerta, Laura; Acosta Puerta, Julián; Bettin Karles, Carlos ManuelGreen areas are essential for life, plants are the only ones capable of injecting oxygen into the atmosphere, a vital element for the human race. Plants reduce carbon dioxide (CO2), prevent erosion, improve the climate and, even so, the rate of disappearance of green areas is rapid. Either because society does not manage to raise awareness, or because short-term priorities are always different, the problem deepens and worsens day by day (CONAFOVI, 2005, p.13).The fragmentation of the forests is one of the main causes of the loss of biodiversity, not only in El Valle de Aburrá, but also in Colombia and in the world, attributing responsibility to man because of his practices, needs and indifference. This research is developed with the aim of generating environmental awareness in citizens and restructuring the artificial component based on the natural component, which is essential for life, thus generating ecological connectivity that allows the proper functioning of ecosystem ser vices. The northwestern zone ecological corridor of Medellín is a pilot project of the network of metropolitan ecological corridors that seeks to recover ecological connectivity in the El Valle de Aburrá, generating continuity in the natural component and repowering the streams, reconfiguring the urban landscape and recovering biodiversity in the city, and in turn, at a strategic point, the Environmental Conser vation Unit supporting research and educational processes of institutions
