In the framework of the research project called ComVidas, carried out by the University of San Buenaventura Cali, the University of Valle and the SENA Regional Valley, this research addresses one of the objectives of the macro project, which is proposed as general objective, the development of an audible assistance system to the driving, which, is based on the different answers that the driver can have in front of events that are given when driving a vehicle and the connection of this with the outside. These responses are complemented by sound assists in interpreting the vehicle environment and external factors that are or aren´t potentially dangerous. Each of the internal and external performances will be represented and/or affected by sounds that are associated with the pattern and identify the event. The appreciation of the driver's own sounds and reactions are associated in such a way that each of the actions (Bearing in mind that we react in different ways) can in general represent each one of the events.

Traffic accidents are one of the main reasons drivers and pedestrians deceases around the world. It has motivated the rise of driver assistance systems, which aims to notifying about possible risks on the road. However, such systems’ interfaces are commonly designed without taking into account aspects contributing to driver distraction. For this reason, the Project “Driver Assistance System using Computer Vision” (ComVidas) considers the design and development of a system that identifies potentially dangerous conditions, in order to properly reporting them to drivers. The proposed interface in this paper, incorporates principles and guidelines of usability, accessibility and ergonomics design, meeting aspects of effectiveness, safety and driver comfort.

In the last years the progress in research and development on ADAS systems has been noticed, cars factory have chosen develop systems for decrease the rate of car-accidents around the world. as a result of all this research led by differents groups and large-scale projects, we can find safetier and more comfortable cars. However these systems are complexes and they have stages and many other factors to consider, one of these is object recognition. Generally object recognition systems has modern techniques of image processing and artificial intelligence (AI) that allows the system for reacting to the environment e.g (others cars, people, traffic signs). Therefore this techniques have evolved, becoming the system more robust adapting to conditions where the process can be very tough, due to this researcher's of the world have proposed sophisticated techniques for improving the performance of the system. In this thesis, it shows An object recognition system using artificial intelligence with monocular camera, it also shows the most used techniques in this field and the technique used for the authors.
