The recent social, environmental, and economical unbalances faced by society, have generated a dynamic that requires a constant global reconstruction by integral citizens, in which ethics and collective interest are paramount. For this motive, by unifying concepts and experiences that define social responsibility in corporations and universities, this article consolidates and delivers models that help institutes of higher education to implement social responsibility in a local environment, specifically the university's role, in a real time and practical approach.

However, Colombia has found that Africa is a continent with great bargaining opportunities for its market of goods and services, where it will mainly see opportunity in the positive growth that has had the African continent in economic and social level, and opportunities for the non-mining energy products increasing the export supply. In the same way, Africa profits from Colombia, reducing poverty, obtaining Colombia-branded products and having skilled labor and with better income levels. From this monograph, it will be understood which are the main aspects to take into account in the international business environments between both economies.

- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoDesarrollo sostenible: uno de los grandes desafíos internacionales para el gobierno corporativo en Colombia(Universidad de San Buenaventura, 2016-01) Vargas Quina, Anderson; Moreno Oviedo, Geselle VictoriaEl presente artículo de reflexión presenta las buenas prácticas empresariales, en concordancia con los acuerdos, los tratados internacionales y las leyes nacionales que han adoptado las empresas colombianas, reflexión que se hace a partir del concepto de gobierno corporativo en cuanto al desarrollo sostenible. Para ello, se definen los conceptos y las funciones que dichas empresas desempeñan para llevarlas a cabo y se hace un análisis de las políticas ambientales que están implementando con el fin de detectar las más eficientes y con mejores resultados para todos los stakeholders (partes interesadas). La relevancia del desarrollo sostenible deviene tras la suscripción de los tratados internacionales por parte de Colombia (1991) y los problemas ambientales generados por las diversas corporaciones en el mundo, las cuales han tenido que replantear sus estrategias empresariales mediante políticas o proyectos basados en la responsabilidad social empresarial, con el fin de satisfacer los stakeholders y establecer una armonía social y ambiental sin afectar su crecimiento económico.

Los postulados del gobierno corporativo proveen mecanismos para que los entes económicos trabajen y prosperen en un ambiente de desarrollo responsable y sustentable. Por ello, es primordial que en Colombia se instituya un modelo de gobierno corporativo acorde con las cuestiones propias e intrínsecas de los aspectos socioculturales y económicos del país, lógicamente dentro de parámetros capitalistas ineludibles para propiciar desarrollo económico. - PublicaciónAcceso abiertoPercepciones de políticas e instrumentos organizacionales por parte de trabajadores, dirigidas al equilibrio entre trabajo y vida familiar(Universidad de San Buenaventura, 2019) Osorio Sánchez, Nathalia; Zapata Lugo, Paola AndreaThe appraisals and social perceptions on the work and the family have not changed to the same pace with which the labor market has transformed, for such a motive, this investigation tries to deepen on this phenomenon employment - family that with great force one has come establishing thanks to numerous factors of social, individual, political and managerial character. This article analyzes the perception that has from the place of the workers concerning the policies and instruments organizational that facilitate a balance so much in the labor as familiar sphere. One took hard-working six as a unit of analyses that concerned to four companies linked to the sector of the great trade and stores of chain of the city of Santiago of Cali (Colombia), having in it counts a series of attributes of homogeneity and heterogeneity. It was in use as instrument of compilation of the information, the interview in depth. The results were divided in categories and subcategories, the category of policies organizational takes as a subcategory hours of labor day, days to the week of the labor day, fulfillment of vacations and granted days and type of labor contract; the category instruments organizational has as subcategory I handle of schedules and shifts, managing of overtime, flexibility in permissions, managing communication in the labor day and perception of the current work. The study concludes that, for the sector of the great trade and stores of chain, to balance the familiar and labor life in his workers it is a commitment that is had in debt, and which must be a basic factor inside the labor dynamics, since the absence of policies and instruments organizational that promote the above mentioned balance, does that the workers increasingly feel lacking in strategies that allow them to harmonize the labor and familiar sphere.
