- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoEfectos de un entrenamiento pliométrico vertical para la fuerza potencia en miembros inferiores del equipo representativo de baloncesto de la Universidad de San Buenaventura Cartagena(2019-10-29) González Elles, Manuel de Jesús; González Leones, José Eduardo; Garrido Ortega, Guillermo Andrés; Cardozo Pacheco, Luis ÁngelThe present research sought to generate knowledge about the effects of a vertical plyometric training for power strength in lower members of the representative basketball team of the University of San Buenaventura Cartagena, applying the Bosco jump test in a period of twelve weeks of specific training and 3 times a week, 7 male and 2 female gender players from the representative basketball team of a private University in the city of Cartagena. Informed consent was requested from the participants, where the objectives of the project, the usefulness of the information, the confidentiality regarding the names of the participants, the voluntary nature of the participation, the foreseeable benefits and the risk of damage (tangible or intangible) for the individual and the community. After comparing the pre-test and post-test, it is concluded that the progressive vertical plyometric training of frequency 3 times per week with low, medium and moderate intensities over a period of 12 weeks, improves the power strength in the lower limbs.

The objective of the study was characterize the physical condition of the aforementioned equipment. Several validated and reliable tests were used: weight and height to determine the BMI, the Leger test (Course Navette) from which maximum aerobic speed (VAM) data, maximum oxygen consumption (VO2max) and cardiovascular recovery index are derived. (IRC). The vertical jump test, abdominal strength and arms test in one minute plus the Wells test to measure flexibility. Microsoft Office Excel was used for the statistical analysis, recording the following results: IMC was observed with better results female soccer with an average of (19.9 normal) and male basketball in (21.6 normal) in relation to VO2 Max were male soccer with an average of (52.1 excellent) and female with (40.5 good) for its part the IRC stood out female basketball (58.2 very good) and male taekwondo with (44.6 good) while in the VAM male soccer (13.3 excellent) and in female soccer and basketball with (11.3 good), in the vertical jumping test the best results were for women's basketball with (40.5 average) and in masculine volleyball in (69.7 above the average) also for the flexibility test the male taekwondo (13.8 good) and volleyball in (15.5 good) on the other hand in the abdominal strength test, male volleyball (56.3 excellent) and female with (56.5 excellent) in the same way in the arm strength test, women's volleyball (34.9 good) and male with (50.1 excellent)
