For its part, the universal declaration of human rights talks about the right of each person to enjoy an education of high quality. This is the reason why the Higher Education Institutions should recourse to strategies as 'design for all', ensuring that the environments be usable and practical for all the persons in disability condition OBJECTIVE: To describe the architectonic barriers that restrict the physic accessibility and participation of persons in motor disability condition of the Universidad de San Buenaventura Cartagena. METHOD: This research had a descriptive focus, because will allowed verifying the made changes in the Universidad de San Buenaventura Cartagena spaces, that was carried out in students that have motor disability, watching the accessible spaces of the university where they develop as students, and was described how the barriers that influence in the activities and participation of them.

METHODOLOGY: a descriptive cross-sectional investigation was carried out. The population was conformed by 65 people in situations of disability with ages between 5 and 65 years that belonged to the District Institute of Sports and Recreation in the city of Cartagena. The research was developed through the application of the survey "Practices of Leisure, Recreation and Sport of People with Disabilities of the City of Cartagena" based on the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (CIF) of WHO. RESULTS: 88% of the participants were male, with an average age of 31 years. In relation to sports practices, only 14% practice a conventional sport and 9% carry out cultural activities. The main leisure activity that is done without help, is adapted sport; In the activities that they would like to do, but they do not do it, they found swimming with 14%

METHODOLOGY: A descriptive research will be carried out with a cross-sectional quantitative approach because it will observe and seek to know in detail the characteristics and qualities of a population, defining specific variables. In turn, information or data on different elements of the population to be studied will be collected, measured and analysed. The information collected will be used to answer the research question and establish the exact behavior of the population; of a transversal nature because it will be carried out within a set period of time. RESULTS: The largest number of the population was found to be 51.01% male with an average age of 37 years and the reason for the disability was born (55.32%). with regard to sports practices, a minimum percentage of the population engage in some conventional sport (8.51%) and a large number of the population do not engage in cultural activities they perform without help was music (57.41%) and walking with help 8..51%); playing football and painting with a percenteage of 23,41% each, are the main activities they can do, they would like to do but do not perform for some situation. The environmental factors influencing such activities as facilitators and barriers are the family (97.54%), and transport (53.19%), respectively.

GENERAL PURPOSE: Characterize leisure, recreation and sports practices and the environmental factors of people with disabilities living in a neighborhood of the city of Cartagena. METHODOLOGY: A descriptive investigation with a cross section. We applied a survey developed by the research group that is based on the International Classification of Functioning (CIF) that information on leisure, recreation and sports activities and contextual factors that prove to be barriers or facilitators for people in the condition of disability of Two sectors of the Olaya Herrera neighborhood. The population consisted of 35 people with a type of disability aged between 11 and 87 years residing in the neighborhoods Olaya Herrera (Sector Rafael Núñez) and a neighborhood sector of Alberto Uribe. The data was included in the Microsoft Office Excel program and then analyzed with the Information 7.2 program

Specifically, the research seeks to know these are currently being addressed in early childhood education and how they influence the practices of teaching in classrooms, in which there is the presence of boys and girls with Special Educational Needs. - PublicaciónAcceso abiertoAprendizaje producido en personas que bailan Salsa con ayuda de implementos mecánicos(Universidad de San Buenaventura, 2018) Rojas Cabal, Jessica; Viáfara Sandoval, HaroldThe project "Learning produced in people who dance sauce with the help of mechanical implements" carried out during the year 2016 - 2 and 2017 - 1 responds to the requirement of work of degree to opt for the title of Degree in Early Childhood Education of the University of San Buenaventura Cali.The work accounts for a documentary research conducted, which from three key moments (dispersion, dimensioning and expansion) organizes, classifies and directs the type of documents in order to make a contrast of what is found in them and the theoretical positions focused in the body, dance, disability and learning.This is how construction is given to four categories, where the relationships, analysis and reflections found throughout the investigation are expressed. The first, "What is not possible becomes possible" an analysis of the social paradigm that exists in front of the population with disabilities. The second, "Historical construction of the idea of the disabled" an investigation of documents that account for the transformation of the term disabled, and war as that practice that increases the population. The third one, "The sauce as an opportunity to learn" real testimonies narrated and evidenced, in which the benefits and learning that can be acquired and build when salsa dance and grow within the salsa environment are related. The fourth, "Towards some reflections for pedagogy" in which artistic videos characteristic of people who dance salsa with the help of mechanical implements are analyzed, the critical position of the Director of the Sabor Latino Dance School, Arlex Andrade and the Theory of Learning Significant by David Ausubel.

Materiales y métodos: se realizó un estudio observacional de corte trasversal con 42 personas mayores de 18 años con lesión medular de variada etiología, nivel neurológico y completitud, con más de 6 meses de evolución, durante el primer semestre del 2015 en Cartagena. Se utilizó para evaluar la calidad de vida relacionada con la salud (CVRS) el Cuestionario de salud SF-12 versión II y el SCI-DAS para el grado de discapacidad
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoCarga percibida en cuidadores informales de pacientes con discapacidad vinculados a la Fundación Teletón - Cartagena(2017) Salgado Ramos, Ana María; Noreña Correa, Manuel FabiánThe current research project had the objective of establishing the perceived burden on informal caregivers of patients with disabilities attending the Fundación Teletón (Teletó n Foundation) - Cartagena. It was made using a longitudinal, non-experimental quantitative approach, using as instrument the Zarit caregiver Burden Interview (ZCBI/ZBI) scale (Zarit, 1982). We included 85 informal caregivers of patients with disabilities, identifying that the caregiver role is mostly performed by females with a 76%, of which the mothers stand out with a 54%. According to the results, we found that 31% of the interviewed show an intense burden, and 11% are at risk with a mild burden; the prior data is significant as a whole, to determine the burden of caregivers of users attending the foundation. While applying the ZBI scale, we didn't find any barriers in its use. We tried to determine the burden, and thus, contribute to the review of the caregiver role

The entry of people in this condition to these sites (places) has been and is almost zero, due to the social background that falls on people in this condition, where as a society the word disability is confused with disability. This is where the inclusion of people with amputation in the upper extremity in these facilities becomes important to contribute to psychological and physical rehabilitation through muscle toning and a device that helps to perform it in the best way.
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoCriterios jurisprudenciales de la corte constitucional sobre la estabilidad laboral reforzada de las personas en situación de discapacidad, ante la imposibilidad de su empleador a reubicarlos a partir de la ley 361 de 1997(2013) Mesa Martínez, Clara Ínes; Ferro Vasco, Carolina; Pacheco Restrepo, Yilly Vanessaen el presente trabajo se pretende observar desde la perspectiva de la ley 361 de 1997, el concepto de discapacidad para el trabajador que presente fallas en su salud y el propósito de la corte constitucional, como es el de proporcionar a través de la ley y la jurisprudencia, las vías de protección a las personas en situación de discapacidad en todo el ámbito social, y aun así la personas con limitaciones se encuentra en una situación de desestabilidad, al llegar el momento en que por su estado de salud no puedan ser reubicadas y el empleador se vea en la necesidad de demostrar que hay una causa objetiva para obtener la autorización del ministerio de trabajo, o dado el caso de no poderlo demostrar, se genera una situación crítica al no tener la actividad adecuada para que la persona en situación de discapacidad se pueda desempeña

Estudio de caso en la ciudad de Pasto(Universidad de San Buenaventura, 2022) Mejía Chamorro, Fredy Octaviano; Cobo Montenegro, Carmen EugeniaLa familia se integra mediante vínculos que entrelazan relaciones emocionales y de diferentes formas de apegos y desapegos, que se caracterizan por las vivencias particulares de cada individuo, cuando la familia enfrenta un diagnóstico sobre la discapacidad motriz de un hijo, La llegada de un nuevo ser, al vínculo familiar se llena de mucha alegría y satisfacción, generando cambios que requieren de experiencia y de adaptación por parte de cada uno de los integrantes de la familia que será nuevo reto para la nueva etapa. Pero cuando este hijo viene con discapacidad el panorama vincular se transforma generando un impacto inesperado que repercutirá en la base estructural de la familiar viéndose afectado de una manera significativa el sano desarrollo del hijo en discapacidad. Este trabajo es un estudio que analiza La Culpa en los Padres, Asociada al Duelo por la Discapacidad Motriz No Congénita de un Hijo, existiendo así una pregunta problema que nos ayudara a de una manera a ver como los padres afrontan la culpa y el duelo por tener un hijo que presenta discapacidad motriz no congénita.

- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoEl derecho a la accesibilidad de las personas con discapacidad(2016) Agudelo Aguirre, Ancízar de Jesús; Hernández Ríos, Mónica IsabelThis article analyzes the regulations and policy framework and case law related to accessibility for disabled people, in order to recognize and identify the progress that has been generated, to ensure compliance of the basic rights of this population, and to improve their social inclusion and their ability to participate freely and openly in the different spaces, services and opportunities offered in the public and private level. At the time, the article presents a review of literature on key concepts, such as disability, accessibility, barriers, universal design and reasonable adjustment. In particular, the legal components of the issue in Colombia are discussed, in the light of the conceptual contributions, offering a theoretical and normative study to understand the current scenario of accessibility policies, recognizing the importance of the constitutional bloc as a way to adopt international standards; and the difficulties that people with disabilities face day after day, due to barriers that are part of the infrastructure and architecture of space. - PublicaciónAcceso abiertoDesarrollo de una herramienta para el control de dispositivos por interacción natural(Universidad de San Buenaventura, 2022) Gómez Estrada, Sebastián; Ruiz López, Juan DavidEsta investigación comprende el diseño de una herramienta capaz de controlar dispositivos móviles y computadores haciendo uso de la voz y de gestos faciales, con el objetivo de ayudar a personas con algún tipo de discapacidad motriz en miembros superiores, a usar este tipo de dispositivos de una manera más independiente y transparente. A lo largo de este escrito, se definen conceptos relacionados con los tipos de discapacidad (monoplejía, hemiplejía, tetraplejía, paraplejía y diplejía) y la forma en la que estas limitan la capacidad de movimiento de las personas que las padecen. También, se definen los tipos de interfaz natural existentes en la actualidad y la forma en la que hacen posible una interacción más directa con estos tipos de dispositivos (PC), reduciendo la carga cognitiva que puede representar el uso de equipos que no están adaptados a sus necesidades en particular. Finalmente se plantea el desarrollo de una herramienta que acorte las brechas que existen entre las personas que padecen alguna de las discapacidades ya mencionadas y el uso eficiente e independiente de computadores, celulares y/o tabletas.

Its objective was to identify the difficulties in the implementation of projects of exploration with educational inclusion strategies used in CorporaciónEducativa Nueva Gente (CORINGE) working with early childhood. Using descriptive non experimental nature qualitative methodology, it allowed through the realization of field diaries made from observations and conducting a focus group, analyze and describe the difficulties founded during the investigation. It was concluded that the lack of support, information, training and resources are important factors affecting the work with children with any type of disability

Following the above approach, the idea of looking at the life experiences of some people who participated in the Paralympics of London and Brazil (2012-2016) was born to analyze those purposes by which we can say that disabilities are no longer a limitation for be a great advantage in certain situations of everyday life. - PublicaciónAcceso abiertoDramas subjetivos de personas invidentes relacionados con aspectos de la inclusión. una mirada desde lo cotidiano(2014) Ospina Castro, Valentina; Romero Soles, Emmanuel; Salcedo Serna, Marco AlexisEn el siguiente texto se realiza una descripción de las formas en que un grupo de sujetos invidentes se posicionan frente a sus dramas subjetivos experimentados a lo largo de su historia de vida, estos ligados a las problemáticas de la inclusión desde sus contextos cotidianos. Se seleccionaron sujetos con discapacidad adquirida los cuales compartieron sus historias de vida con el objetivo de caracterizar los dramas subjetivos que experimentan tres personas invidentes en relación con la inclusión. Los datos fueron sistematizados y analizados por categorías: contexto social, laboral, familiar, académico y ciudadano, a la luz de la teoría de la metáfora dramatúrgica. Los resultados sugieren que el desarrollo de la socialización es lo que principalmente posibilita el proceso de inclusión de las personas con discapacidad. Posteriormente, se hacen conclusiones por cada categoría de análisis y son mencionados posibles temas sobre abordajes psicológicos con sujetos invidentes, suponiendo habitar un escenario de intervención clínic
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoEntendiendo como significa las representaciones corporales un infante de 8 años tras la pérdida de su miembro superior derecho – un estudio de caso(Universidad de San Buenaventura, 2014) Martínez Gil, Jaime Alberto; Galeano Bautista, María CeilaThe purpose of this study was to analyze how a subject of eight years means bodily representations after an experience of loss of the right upper limb in a domestic accident, in order to describe and reveal through semi-structured interviews and application of the projective test CAT the meanings interiorize in the experience through his discourse around the representations of his own body, trauma, and the analogy of his primary and secondary relationships. Concluding how the subject internalizes the loss, through concepts such as self-punishment, guilt, loneliness-abandonment by the mother and the constant questioning of Who am I? and What will I do? with his own body after the traumatic event since its introject thought leads to an incomplete body, loss of income after rumination unable to perform the same actions that could be made beforehand. Concluding that the traumatic event led to changes in the subject's history, which have been meanings thanks to the symbolic representations and physical loss, full of significances intertwined individual and social subjectivity that perpetuate and perpetuate throughout his life.
