- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoEnfoques de desarrollo y prácticas educativas en Proyectos Ambientales Escolares – PRAE –(2018) Bernal Cano, Yanine; Arias Orozco, Edgar de JesúsThe following projects objective is the interpretation of educational practices in the educational environment, specifically those carried out in the School Environmental Projects [PRAE] for two educational institutions in the area of San Cristóbal, Medellín: The Institución Educativa Fabio Zuluaga Orozco and The Institución Educativa San Cristóbal, in relation to the development approaches that are deployed in them. Consequently, a qualitative methodology has been identified for the analysis of data such as interviews and focus groups, as well as a review of the documents produced for the PRAE of both institutions. The above has allowed to describe the pedagogical components that are carried out in relation to environmental education. Finally, we have sought to relate the information found on the development approaches and the educational practices -PRAE generated in these institutions. It has been found that the PRAE have some of the theoretical and conceptual references provided by the National Policy on Environmental Education, however, the educational practices generated do not always transcend the institutional level. Also, it has been notorious to note the relationship between the conceptual clarity of the -PRAE and the discourses generated by the actors of the educational community. Regarding the visible development approaches in the -PRAE, it is evident the recurrence of a discourse on sustainable development, the weakness of a possible criticism of the limitations of this approach and the particular connection-disconnection between environmental educational practices and practical demand and discursive that would entail coherently assume the development approach enunciated in school life.
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoReflexión crítica frente a la educación ambiental a partir del modelo eco- cognitivo, creativo en la Institución Educativa Ambientalista Cartagena de Indias(2019-10-24) Periñan Hurtado, Ana María; Theran Páez, Marelvi Rosa; Montes Rivera, GledysThis research work was carried out at the Institución educativa Ambientalista Cartagena de Indias. It is a qualitative research work with an ethnographic approach in which it was analyzed how environmental practices have impacted students from the pedagogical model "Eco-cognitive, creative" of the Institution. To this end, a series of data collection tools were designed, which were taken from the documentary review, interview and focus group. From the documentary review we could see weaknesses in the transversalization of the axis of environmental education with the subjects in the curricula, as well as the lack of a memory that captures the systematization of pedagogical experiences. On the other hand, within the values that promote the pedagogical model of the institution, there is respect as the main value that is imparted, then awareness and finally awareness raising, which could be evidenced through the focal group stating that in their formation they feel that they have improved the coexistence, care, respect, love and compassion of all that exists and has life. In the interview students and graduates show that the environmental practices derived from the model have positively impacted by leaving meaningful learnings in them, and since they know the institutional identity, they carry out actions of care and reflect values such as respect in line with the institutional motto
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoResignificación de los proyectos de educación ambiental a Partir de las características del paradigma del cuidado de Leonardo Boff(2019-10-24) Piña Valdez, Ana Isabel; Meza Aguirre, José AlbertoThe care of the environment from school requires constant reflections that provide alternatives for the conservation of the life of man and the other species with which the planet lives. In this sense, the present investigation raises the care from the perspective of Leonardo Boff, as a possibility of strengthening the ties and relationships of people with nature, in school environments. Therefore, it is necessary to identify the elements that structure the care paradigm from the perspective of Boff, followed by the analysis of national regulations regarding educational environmental projects, and finally achieve an environmental pedagogical proposal based on the dimensions of care that the author of reference suggests. From the methodological point of view, the research is placed in the light of the qualitative approach, in a type of hermeneutical research in which it is attempted to address the understandings and interpretations of care in school.
