To be the sole day a strategy implemented by the Ministry of national education (MEN) to improve the quality of education in the country, and taking into account shortly after leading implementation, understanding that to be developed into institutions changes generated both at the academic level as management. In that sense, is search by the way as the two institutions are going forward the process of implementation of such day, in relation to the management of senior executives, technical, logistics, human resource mobilization that has involved extending the time of formation of the students. Work shows that the day only, although it has been implemented in both institutions, Santa Librada, which is that of a public character have not necessary adjustments so that it complies with the proposed objective, while in San Francisco, which is of a private nature changes have been made to make it work.
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoLas leyes 142 y 143 de 1994 y su influencia en la gestión directiva de la empresa Electricauca de la ciudad de Popayán, entre los años 1994 y 1997(Universidad de San Buenaventura - Cali, 2016-01) Fernández Perafán, Isabel Cristina; Campo Escandón, Javier EduardoLa adopción del modelo de desarrollo neoliberal que delega la prestación de servicios públicos de energía eléctrica al sector privado, ha generado agudos cambios en las organizaciones públicas, obligando con ello a substituir el antiguo modelo empresarial de dependencia por una estructura de gestión acorde con los nuevos requerimientos del actual modelo de mercado. El presente estudio histórico-hermenéutico de carácter descriptivo, tuvo como objetivo principal describir la influencia de las leyes 142 y 143 de 1994 en la gestión directiva de la empresa Electricauca, de la ciudad de Popayán, entre 1994 y 1997. Se concluye que la falta de preparación gerencial y el predomino del clientelismo, fueron la estrategia preferencial y equívoca para afrontar los procesos de cambio y transformación, lo que generó serias afectaciones a la empresa que obligaron a su intervención por parte del Estado.
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoEl liderazgo pedagógico del directivo docente y su incidencia en el área de gestión académica y curricular(2021) Cardona, Paola Catalina; Pérez Avendaño, Gloria EstellaThis academic article is written within the purpose of analyzing the influence that the pedagogical leadership of the teaching director has in the academic and curricular area management; For such purposes, a synopsis of the conceptions of teaching directors in the Colombian framework is presented, as well as the competencies and profiles of teaching directors and their impact on the management process of educational institutions, specifically in the academic and curricular area, the role of the teaching director is strategic thereby the institutional autonomy contributes to the institutional and pedagogical transformation. For several decades the management model has focused on administrative procedures and changes in social and academic methods, requiring management processes from educational institutions that involves educational actors in the dynamization of pedagogical proposals that are oriented towards the fulfillment of the institutional goals, from the principles and institutional nature, from these requirements, the teaching directors as pedagogical leaders, assume a social and academic commitment in the institutional context and its field of study, guiding from the proposed management fields articulates and facilitates the participation and pedagogical practices towards the institutional objectives to build the life project of the educational community, aligned with the institutional life project. The Colombian Ministry of Education recognizes the importance of the teaching directors in the management of a school, in making decisions in different areas. The teaching director accomplishes activities of direction, planning, coordination, administration, orientation, and programming in educational institutions within the framework of the institutional educational project (PEI), willing to achieve and enhance the quality and continuous improvement of the community pedagogical processes of the school. In order to ensure efficient management and quality improvement in education, teaching directors cannot stop using the pedagogical foundation in their work, as a route that enables the implementation of training proposals influences student learning and the school functioning.

The focus of the research is qualitative, of a descriptive nature that utilizes an ethnographic design which allowed an analysis according to the actions of the directive. To achieve the objective many different tools were utilized to gather information such as: a semi-structured interview, a questionnaire and an observation guide, which were applied to the Directive Management of five educational institutions throughout country; taking into account in part some of the information from the appraisals, experiences and point of views, that paved the way for the creation of a Administrative Managerial Management, that can be implemented in any preschool, basic or medium educational institution, either from a rural or urban setting within the national environment
