    La Constitución de 1991, nos ofrece el marco normativo básico que fundamenta esta investigación, en sus artículos 13, 42 y 43. El primero establece la igualdad formal al manifestar que todas las personas nacen libres e iguales ante la Ley, el segundo protege a la familia como núcleo esencial de la sociedad y a quienes la integran, el último hace acepción directa a la necesidad de garantizar la equidad de género. En virtud de estos mandatos comienza una nueva era en la protección de la mujer contra todas las formas de discriminación, incluyendo la violencia intrafamiliar como forma de perpetuación de la opresión femenina en el ámbito privado, posibilitando la apertura de un progreso legal en materia de prevención, eliminación y protección de la violencia de género, que tuvo punto hito en la promulgación de la Ley 1257 de 2008.

    Diseño de estrategias de sensibilización interactivas acerca de la igualdad de género en el parque La Florida, Bello

    Gender roles are defined as the characteristics associated with the masculine and the feminine and how these separate people based on their birth sex into specific roles, limiting them to only being able to inhabit a single space, be it public or private. In Colombia there is still a very marked thought on what a man and a woman should or should not do, consequently, the masculinization and feminization of daily activities continues to be perpetuated, this same thought structure is still present in La Florida park, located in the municipality of Bello, the chosen place of study. The research was carried out from a mixed approach that allows identifying and documenting the problems around gender roles and that at the same time it is possible to discover how these problematic situations are experienced and interpreted by the community. This project aims to design a strategy that can help raise awareness and recognize gender roles through interactive activities. Likewise, it seeks to inform people through data about the activities that are mostly stigmatized for belonging to one of the two sexes. The result is the creation of an interactive and awareness-raising strategy called EqualG that is not only designed to be carried out in a specific place, but can also be replicated in different areas of the city where there is a marked problem associated with gender.

    Feminicidio: una aproximación al contexto legal y social

    The present work seeks to describe the legal and social context in which femicide is located, from a regional and local level, this being understood as the murder of a woman because she is a woman. The methodology used was that of documentary review, as well as the analysis of statistical data which allows to have a general overview of the question addressed. Finally, it concludes with concern the need to make the status of women visible in social contexts that in one way or another promote discrimination and violence, in order to ensure the guarantee of their fundamental rights, which is not reduced only To the availability of criminal types in the domestic legal system, but to state structural efforts that transform naturalized cultural practices, which affect the role of women in society.

    Ley de cuotas como mecanismo para garantizar la igualdad de oportunidades en la administración municipal de Cali

    El presente texto aborda el problema de la discriminación históricamente existente en Colombia, y especialmente Santiago de Cali, la utilización de acciones afirmativas como la ley de cuotas ley 581 de 2000 para combatir tal fenómeno y avanzar en busca de la igualdad material efectiva y real, uno de los objetivitos políticos y sociales de la constitución de 1991, en su artículo 13, además de normas de derecho internacional, como la declaración universal de derechos humanos.
