- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoRetos pedagógicos en medio de la cuarta revolución industrial(2021) Codina Farías, Dairo de Jesús; Estrada Guzmán, Carolina Isabel; Salazar Agudelo, Jorge Albeiro; Uribe García, Julián AlbertoUnderstanding that education at the elementary and middle school level is the platform for the reinforcement of logical-mathematical thinking, the exploration of the world in a systemic way and the definition of vocational and occupational trends, the study seeks to examine how teachers of the Basic secondary level of the Pedro Justo Berrío Salesiano Institute (ISPJB) are applying didactic strategies that allow students to develop skills that respond to the challenges of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. An exploratory study was conducted with a qualitative approach. Semi-structured interviews were carried out with teachers, focus groups with the participation of students and teachers, and a documentary analysis through class planners. The investigative exercise made it possible to show that the COVID 19 pandemic accelerated for educational institutions the implementation of new pedagogical initiatives, which allowed connectivity and virtual communication with students. Although the teachers were able to make use of platforms on daily academic sessions, it is appropriate to consider better training in new pedagogical practices related to virtuality. Also, it was observed that teachers apply teaching strategies that help achieve the objectives in the process of teaching and learning for the Fourth Industrial Revolution, as flipped classroom, solving challenges and projects (ABP), learning by doing, among others. However, these should continue to deepen. The management should encourage teacher training so that they reflect about their teaching practices and are at the forefront and constantly updated, in a world immersed in a revolution that generates technological changes rapidly.

These implant technological strategies that brings closer the students to have new experiences based on the appropriation, the resources and implementation of new materials that allows learning to be innovating, satisfying and full of diverse knowledge. Due to this reason, it is necessary to recognize the problem that the rural school has in the town of El Retiro, Antioquia. Also, find strategies that can help the application of TIC in the education to make better not only our children, but along with our teachers, parents and the community in general. This will give the answer needed for a diverse, communicative, technological world. Likewise we will experiment from the rural school of the town El Retiro, Antioquia, their needs, problems and comprehension about Communication Technologies, respect of the innovation and the possible offers that they will receive at the moment they obtain a new technological model in the school. However, to notice the merge of the subject and the intention with the one, it has to be presented for the acceptance in the educational society. In addition, they will be accompany by training, investigations, speeches and academic spaces. This will let the individual explore a process of recognition and a space of feedback where they can present their doubts, suggestions and the academic advances in the community. This will prove how the TIC let get together with new learning achieved, thanks to the Communication technologies
