Its starting point is the theoretical and conceptual framework of executive functions. He had a quantitative approach, because he used data collection for numerical measurement and statistical analysis. The type of research is descriptive and a sample of 16 young people was taken, among the inclusion criteria it was taken into account that the participants were equal to or older than 18 years, Young people deprived of liberty at the Center for Reeducation for the Minor Offender of the law in ASOMENORES, under judicial measures and sanctions, adolescents in school; Participation in the study was voluntary and an institutional permit and an informed consent filled out by those evaluated were signed. The information collection instrument used was the BANFE2 test. As results of the research, it was obtained that the participants present alterations in their capacity for cognitive goal control, cognitive goal judgment and cognitive goal monitoring; that is, difficulties in being aware of their own behavior. This aspect is very sensitive for the rehabilitation of these subjects as it may indicate a tendency to recidivism in crimes

Specifically, in Medellín and Colombia, marihuana is the illegal drug most consumed within the centers of the Sistema de Responsabilidad Penal para Adolescentes due to its short and long terms effects, and its characteristics. This article investigates the factors related to the relapse in the use of psychoactive drugs, finding individual, social, family, cultural factors, among others, that can be associated. Also understanding the condition of deprivation of liberty, as an abnormal situation, that could exacerbate the risk. In addition, the importance of an evidence-based program for young people in conflict with criminal law deprived of their liberty, focused on the prevention and treatment of the use of psychoactive drugs is raised
