- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoAdquisición de Señales desde MATLAB a través de un osciloscopio digital(Universidad de San Buenaventura, 2018) Acero Portillo, John Harry; Cruz Vergara, Carlos HéctorThe present thesis investigates and implements a data acquisition system, which are valid from MATLAB through a digital oscilloscope. Thus allowing the processing of the data in the computer, with the aid of tools like the own MATLAB . The first chapter refers to the frame of reference where each component of the project is named and described. The second chapter explains the entire project design process. In the third chapter, the respective design and codification tests of the project are carried out. in the fourth chapter the conclusions are recorded and finally the annexes and bibliography are evidenced.
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoAplicación para el análisis acústico y auralización de recintos cerrados(Universidad de San Buenaventura, 2017) Castaño Melo, Edward Steven; Betancur vargas, Carlos MauricioThis proyect describes an application developed in a graphical environment called MATLAB (GUI), to evaluate acoustics in closed enclosures. This application is conformed by two tools, the first tool allow us to get done an acoustic analysis calculating the parameters of a room staring from the measurenment of the impulse response (RIR); With the second tool it’s possible to make auralizations starting from the dimensions and features of a room. In order to evaluate the quality of this application was compared with commercial softwares in the market, measurements were taken in two rooms with different acoustic characteristics
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoInterfaz gráfica para análisis de señales del electroencefalograma(2015-11-23) Quijano Lopez, Andres Felipe; Valencia Murillo, José FernandoUsing a graphical interface that displays EEG signals depend more on the user's opinion that complex processing algorithms. In this paper the most important features are presented in a graphical interface that works with EEG signals in order to define specifications that allow an interface to a usable computer application. The characteristics of a GUI initially drawn from a process of searching, comparing and ranking different medical and work done with software EEG signals. Then the universal characteristics will be established and existing evidence to evaluate graphical user interfaces will be studied. Subsequently, a survey was applied in order to obtain a user's needs. The results indicate the importance of the user in the design process of user interfaces. The type of investigation is applied research
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoRepresentación de las propiedades tímbricas y dinámicas de una señal de audio a través de una matriz RGB para la sustitución sensorial del oído a la vista(2021) García Gómez, Andrés; Franco Bedoya, Ramiro EstebanThis thesis shows the development of a method for the visual representation of the timbral and dynamic properties of an audio signal in an RGB matrix, for ear-to-vision sensory substitution in people with hearing disabilities. In the first part, were obtained audio descriptors and a comparison was made between the different types, such as the MFCC, spectral descriptors such as the spectral centroid, spectral flatness, spectral slope among others, descriptors such as the "Chroma Vector" were also used. Which allows identifying musical notes. To obtain these descriptors, the audio characteristics extraction tools included in the Matlab 2020B Audio Toolbox and the Dan Ellis “Chroma Feature Analysis and Synthesis” library were used. Based on the "Chroma Vector" an experimental algorithm was developed, using type IIR filters and later improved with the Q transform. Based on this method, were achieved visual representations in an RGB matrix. These visual representations were inspired by the phenomenon of synesthesia, more precisely sound-color synesthesia (Chromesthesia) and the analogous characteristics between hearing and vision. Visual representations based on this algorithm were obtained, similar to a spectrogram in real time, using the chromatic scale and colors according to this. Such visualizations appear to be useful to observe the temporal evolution of harmony and notes in music and for identifying basic patterns in short voice signals (logatomes). Finally, a subjective visual comparison between similar voice and music signals visualizations was made. a comparison using the “VGGish” neural network was made too, for this using its original input (mel scale filters), and the constant Q spectrum that was obtained as an audio descriptor previously, in this case showing the original input a better performance, but qualitatively it seems that the method chosen in this work visually represents the music and voice signals better
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoSistema embebido para control, supervisión y comunicación, de un horno de panadería(2015-09-24) Quintero de los Rios, Daniel Felipe; Murillo Londoño, Pedro Pablo; Cruz Ardila, Juan CarlosThis paper presents an analysis and design for making an embedded system able to control, supervise and communicate a bakery oven. Two controllers’ designs are shown which are responsible for maintaining the temperature in the furnace to a predefined reference point, using a graphical interface made in “python” programming language. Besides a literature review on design and implementation of a On/Off temperature controller and a temperature control using fuzzy logic is taught. Each of the controllers was subjected to different test and the applications and results are presented in this paper.
