    The variable performance in the productive processes is very important since this contributes significantly to the productivity and competitiveness of the organizations, high levels of performance are related to controlled and stable processes, this project has as objective the increase of the yield of the productive process of the garlic salt in a company located in the city of Cali.In search of the best results, we established methodologies and tools of Lean Six Sigma that are focused on the DMAIC methodology, during each stage we identify and implement the tools for the search and improvement of the problem variable, which negatively impact the productive process, as results, an increase in the yield of 3,14 percentage points was obtained, going from 92% to 95,04%.

    In this work we will find the benefits obteined after the implementation of the Project named “Remo” in Calzado Romulo Factory S.A.S, that is based in the technology innovation of information systems that consist of an ERP (Enterprise Resource planning). In this Factory there wasnt a software that have information in line and in real time for the área of manufactory. This caused that administrative and operative decisión were deleyed. Thats why the shareolders take the desion of buying the ERP. This proyect was develop in a period of a year due to diferent delays that happened in the implementation. Thats why siesa that was the firm who sell the program, has to work in certain developments of the program to achive that the organization work with the program in the correct form in the month of January 2017.

    Currently the company Coomeva Hospital at Home provides home care services to members of the EPS and some external to it , one of the factors affecting the efficiency and effectiveness of this service is the income of the admissions process through the provision of programming service, which has been presented a few months ago , for it must bear in mind that Hospital at Casa SA has no historical records about this incident , therefore must make a decision times and their analysis for the implementation of our improvement in this process.

    The objective of this project is to design a quality management model for the implementation of the sustainable kitchens project, which aims to give sustainable management to the value chain generated in four Comfandi recreational centers which have food production points; the project is based on the Colombian Sectorial Technical Standard 004, the methodology is based on the continuous improvement PHVA cycle to comply with and follow the above-mentioned norm, tools such as checklists, root cause analysis, 5W`sy were used 1 HOUR. In addition, compliance with legal requirements was followed up on Good Manufacturing Practices according to Decree 3075 of 1997 and Resolution 2674 of 2013. Programs were created to give good management to supplies, raw materials, and the adequate disposal of waste, as well as the implementation of techniques for harvesting such as the creation of vermiculture.

    This paper seeks to reduce the number of non-effective reviews of EMCALI's public energy and aqueduct services, using the tools provided by the Lean Six Sigma methodology. Starting from the problem that the process of field revisions in the area of reviewers presents, we seek to provide a solution through the phases proposed by the Six Sigma methodology, which are: define measure, analyze, improve and control. In the define phase, the scope of the project is defined and the objectives are established, in the measurement phase, it allows us to describe and diagnose the problem and it is more conducive to the achievement of the objects, in the improvement phase it focuses on the root cause of Problem and defines the actions to solve the problem, and in the last phase control as its name indicates is based on proposing the tools that must be implemented to control the improvement and that is continuous.

    This degree work was based on developing an improvement plan to reduce waste in the staple production process in the company General Metálica Of the hand with the Lean 6 sigma Methodology, where a gap in the process was visualized and the opportunity to decrease the variable% was estimated. Is calculated in the form of nonconforming product / conformal finished product. The methodology is supported mainly in statistics through the phases of the DMAIC methodology which by its acronym stands for Define, Measure, Analyze, Implement and Control, this allows to make visible the needs of each and every one of the processes, activities or tasks that are presented in a company already Whether of services or production, because when working with multifunctional groups, it allows to measure the current performance in order to find the root cause of the failure Presented, later also allows to implement improvements and to evaluate the behavior once executed the plan of improvement.

    Diseño de plan de mejoramiento para la reducción del porcentaje de producto no conforme en el proceso de producción de agua potable tratada en la empresa Agua pura del Putumayo

    El presente documento se basa en el desarrollo de una propuesta enfocada a mejorar el proceso productivo del agua potable tratada de la empresa Agua Pura del Putumayo con el fin de disminuir el porcentaje de unidades no conformes, tomando como referencia las solicitudes realizadas por la empresa cliente donde manifiestan defectos en el empaque de sus productos. Cabe señalar que los defectos tienen un impacto directo en los costos generales de una empresa, ya que cuando se producen productos de baja calidad, deben ser reprocesados, incurriendo en costos adicionales por defectos de fabricación. Tomando en consideración lo anterior, se decidió analizar la factibilidad de las alternativas de mejora propuestas en este proyecto para reducir hasta en un 50% el número de unidades defectuosas e impactar positivamente en los costos operativos de Empresa Agua Pura del Putumayo.

    Today global competition forces companies to become more efficient and profitable when producing goods or services. Reducing costs, time and waste become critical elements that must be attacked by organizations seeking to remain in force in the market. There are philosophies that when applied help mitigate waste, highlighting Lean Manufacturing and it various tools. The study aims to design an improvement action plan based on SMED and 5’S tools to reduce the time of changes in the lathes cell a company in the metalworking sector. The tools used herein are: SMED and 5’S , applied at all stages to generate by a team , opportunities for improvement necessary to optimize the manufacturing process on the lathe , based on a diagnosis and identification of the root causes that relate to : lack of standard procedures , inadequate distribution of work areas and lack of training , which prompted the organization to undertake a set of activities economic investment and staff time to obtain a efficient working method.

    Diseño de un plan de acción para disminuir el incumplimiento en el tiempo de entrega del producto interviniendo el área de producción de la empresa de muebles arquitectónicos

    "Muebles Arquitectónicos" is a company dedicated to the manufacture of furniture in wood for approximately 5 years; Sales in 2015 compared to 2014 had a reduction of 54%, which in pesos corresponds to $ 112,380,000; This situation is related to the loss of 6 customers, 3 of which generated an average of 30% of sales in 2014. Based on the above and to know the customer's satisfaction, a survey was carried out on all their current customers. The result of the survey showed that 65% of the customers presented a disagreement with the delivery time, which was verified with the review of orders, where of 229 units manufactured from January to October 2015, 59% had delays of 1 To 3 days in their delivery time. For the reasons explained above, the objective of this project is to analyze the causes that generate the problem and in this way identify actions aimed at reducing the non-compliance with the delivery times of the product.

    This research focuses on the design of a strategic plan for the company Minvalley Entertainment, which is focused on organizing electronic music events, is a pioneer in this type of event and takes four years on the market, is located in the city Roldanillo, Northern Valle del Cauca.Using different theories proposed by professionals a series of methodologies and administrative tools to obtain quantifiable, measurable results for the subsequent execution of the plan will involve direction.The design is proposed to establish an environmental analysis to determine the market and its competitiveness in which the company is located and an internal analysis of all the variables that affect or have an impact on the processes and operations of the company, These analyzes are performed in order to implement the main strategies and plans within the organization by developing the mission, vision, values, strategic objectives, tactics and activities, which define their rationale, philosophy and organizational culture and be located economic activity in the sector during a certain time.From the wording of the previous organizational structure, strategic objectives, strategies and plans of action to be defined and implemented to achieve the goals efficiently using the balance scorecard.

    Diseño de un plan de mejora para incrementar el índice de recuperación de cartera del Plan Colectivo en empresa del sector salud, Regional Suroccidente – Cali

    The Lean Six Sigma project is oriented to increase the portfolio recovery index of the collective plan in a company of the health sector in Cali - Colombia, bearing in mind that the output variable (Y) of the project is being negatively impacted by the little availability of the auxiliary to carry out the collection activities of said plan, since it presents a high degree of operative load for activities that do not generate value to the process. This is why the methodology proposed by the DMAIC cycle and its engineering tools are used to solve this problem. The project methodology is initially approached with the Define phase, which describes the background of the process, the scope, objectives, impacts and benefits to be obtained in it. Then, in the measuring phase, the identified critical variables (X's) are determined and quantified, prioritizing and analyzing the capacity of the process, which allows the objectives set in the project to be landed. In the analysis phase, the causes of the problem are studied in detail, along with possible alternative solutions. In the improvement phase, it corresponds to the execution of the action plan proposed to give solution to the problem. Finally, in the control phase, the results obtained are compared with those that existed before the improvement and the pertinent mechanisms, metrics and tools are established to ensure the maintenance of the results obtained in the project.

    Diseño de un plan de mejora para la reducción de defectos en el proceso de confección en la planta de producción de la empresa GRUPO OCTUS S.A.S

    The aim of the present work is to design an improvement plan for the reduction of defects in the confection process in the production plant of the company OCTUS SAS, based on the DMAIC tools of the Lean Six Sigma methodology, in order to reduce the defects that are detected when producing the different types of garments. Considering this, the percentage of day defects was taken as a measurement variable, based on the requirements established by the company. The costs directly affect the company due to the defects that are generated; in fact, the imperfect units must be reprocessed and recovered in an additional process causing additional costs. Due to this, it is decided to evaluate each of the alternatives solutions proposed in this project to reduce the percentage of defects 2.3% having the current level at 13.17% and positively impact on the operating costs of the company. As well, the alternatives solutions was standardized to ensure that the percentage of defects continues decreasing at the end of the project.

    This grade work presents as a final result the design of an improvement plan for the increase of productivity in the packaging process in the company Pysta S.A.S. because in the south, central and north of the country there is a very wide market niche of products National and imported for the aesthetic care of vehicles, making the company very competitive and positioned in the market. Therefore, this work aims to increase productivity in the process of silicone packaging in the presentations of 200 ml and 430 ml of 225.2 units/hour program to 337.5 units/time programmed, in 50%. This will increase the annual revenues in utility representation of 25% in $127´986.771; to satisfy the demand, as it presents a 38.2% in late deliveries of orders. In the development, we used industrial engineering tools focused on Lean manufacturing Six Sigma, such as DMAIC, Project Charter, SIPOC, VOC, IPO, Ishikawa diagram, among other methods, which were associated for different diagnostic proposals and Improved processes analyzed.

    The present research seeks to design an improvement plan for the company Copier King of the city of Cali, in which a preliminary study will be developed to evaluate the weaknesses of the company. By means of this, the different problems that the company has in its different areas will be identified, orienting its improvement in the financial area, because it generates utility, but this is not sufficiently profitable for the owners of the company, which is a subject worrying and important for the Copier King.The intervention started with a diagnosis of the situation, for which all areas of the company were reviewed. Once identified the area of greatest dissatisfaction for the management of the company, an improvement plan is designed that is designed with strategies and actions that help to achieve the vision of the company for the year 2021, this includes especially the organization of the financial area with the design of planning tools, such as budget, cash flow and the design of strategies for the marketing area, which impact on the company's management results.

    La gestión de mantenimiento abarca todas las operaciones a mantener los procesos productivos de una planta, es decir se basa en aquellas actividades que determinan los objetivos, las estrategias y las responsabilidades del área, mediante la planificación, control y supervisión de las actividades (Becerra, 2010). En la empresa seleccionada, el plan de mantenimiento no es controlado y por lo tanto se generan tareas adicionales, que conllevan a la ejecución de mantenimiento correctivo programado y a un incumplimiento del presupuesto de gastos de mantenimiento preventivo. Este trabajo contribuye a la solución de una problemática en una empresa de alimento cárnico, tomando como apoyo la aplicación de: la metodología Optimización de Mantenimiento Preventivo, herramientas de decisión de la metodología Mantenimiento Centrado en la Confiabilidad y herramientas de ingeniería industrial. Por lo tanto, con la aplicación de este proyecto, se puede concluir que el uso de herramientas de ingeniería industrial, realiza un aporte significativo a la mejora de la gestión del mantenimiento, pues permite implementar un proceso de mejora continua, mediante un procedimiento que busca evaluar permanente.

    Una de las áreas más importantes en las empresas que realizan actividades de manufactura es el área de producción, y es precisamente en esta área donde se trabaja por la satisfacción de los clientes teniendo en cuenta aspectos claves como el tiempo de entrega pactados del producto a la hora de solicita un servicio y las especificaciones que el cliente requiere; por estos motivos surge la necesidad de que las empresas sea capaces de responder a estas necesidades a la hora de ofrecer un producto con el fin de fidelizar al cliente y que este a su vez quede satisfecho a la hora de la entrega del producto final. La empresa PUBLINCO siendo una empresa manufacturera que busca siempre el mejoramiento en sus productos ofrecidos, se ve en la necesidad de una intervención en el área de producción en busca de lograr un impacto favorable en los tiempos de entrega y cumplimiento de las especificaciones requeridas por el cliente, es por eso que nace la necesidad de este proyecto, el cual por medio de herramientas de mejoramiento LEAN SIX SIGMA enmarcadas en la metodología del ciclo DMAIC busca estrategias de mejoramiento en la productividad de la empresa, mediante la definición inicial del problema y por medio de la medición y la caracterización del proceso diseñar un plan de implementación de dichas herramientas para aumentar el indicador de productividad en la fabricación de vallas publicitarias de la empresa
