- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoAlgoritmo para la identificación de piezas musicales enmarcadas en el folclor colombiano, utilizando MIR y empleando el software Matlab(2020) Paternina Arrauth, Diego Andrés; Ugarte Macías, Juan PabloIn the project an algorithm has developed for the recognition of tropical Colombian pieces using MIR y the software Matlab, for the development of this one, it has been considered to be an algorithm of the literature, though it is applied also to musical different, it has aims similar to those of this research. The algorithm has two stage of work, which are studied separately in order to connect both stages and to obtain the best possible performance, we have been identified a few parameters that intervene considerably in the implementation of every stage. We have realized an important number of essays with different configuration with the aim to establish one. Like final test of the algorithm a field trial has been realized, in order to know response of the complete algorithm in presence and absence of noise.
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoCarácter estético-artístico-político de las movilizaciones sociales en Medellín Colombia: arte y cuerpos en performáticas(2021) Eusse Bolívar, Laura Andrea; Castrillón Baquero, Jolyn ElenaThis research project was conducted with the necessity of understanding the diverse aesthetic-artistic-political character of social mobilizations expressed mainly in marches, protests, streets takeovers and performances. All this considering the context of disagreement and social unrest in the city of Medellin - Colombia in a timeline that encompasses the years 2019, 2020 and 2021 respectively. For such purposes, it was chosen a qualitative research methodology with a phenomenological-hermeneutical approach, trying to comprehend some experiences, life-situations, sensations, feelings and emotional states that arise in social mobilizations in an aesthetic-artistic-political field. It is shown that the body allows the experience of the sensible, being crucial in the ideation, creation and performance of the artistic expression, in addition to inhabiting characteristic realities of the socio-historical-cultural moment to which it belongs. We identify those artists deconstruct various realities, everyday elements, symbolic and non-symbolic elements and reconstruct them, providing a new experience with a high degree of emotional, visceral and physiological impact.

But, in the case of the English language we found that for one side when it is taught, the intercultural competence is laid aside and there is more emphasis on other competences, on the other hand, the intercultural competence is taken into account but focusing on one country like is the case of the United States. It is for that reason that the purpose of this research is to show how through the comparative analysis between songs and literary works in English and Spanish in the light of thematology, we can see how our cultural contextiv (the Spanish –speaking Caribbean) gets closer to an anglophone cultural context, in the framework of the intercultural relation.
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoLa construcción de identidad en la infancia y la cultura musical del reggaetón en los primeros espacios de socialización(2018) Posso Sierra, Mónica María; Carmona Osorio, Luisa Fernanda; Vásquez Pérez, Nora LilianaIn this grade work we wanted to recognize the relationship between building concepts of identity, childhood and reggaetón in the first spaces of socialization of children studying preschool in the Institución educativa Francisco Miranda – headquarters’ Julio Arboleda. The theoretical tracking allowed to find valuable foundation in the contributions of Beatriz Ramírez Grajeda in the identity category moreover Jorge Dany in relation to reggaetón, as well as Marianela Urdaneta García. Assumed the methodology from the ethnographic focus, the observation was made involving, playful-pedagogical workshops, interviews with children and surveys to parents, finding that this music generates an impact especially in the rhythmic and aesthetic fields. Offering a whole culture as well as forms of expression, grown up people, in the family and the school as mediators of content and exposure times, besides the way of communication they are elements very important in the relationship of children with this musical genre.
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoDiseño de un método basado en pruebas subjetivas para evaluar la preferencia de usuario de material musical con audio binaural(Universidad de San Buenaventura - Medellín, 2022) Cardona Quintero, Mateo; Carmona Londoño, Camilo; Montoya Flórez, Andrés FelipeCon el presente trabajo se buscó diseñar un método basado en pruebas subjetivas que permitiera evaluar diferentes parámetros (calidad, gusto, familiaridad, espacialidad, externalización, localización, entre otros), en segmentos de una canción con procesamiento binaural y estéreo. se realizaron las pruebas a 40 sujetos con y sin experiencia en el ámbito sonoro mediante dos pruebas elaboradas en la plataforma de google forms. Los resultados se registraron en bases de datos en Microsoft Excel y mediante el lenguaje de programación Python y R se hizo el posterior análisis en el que se utilizaron algunos métodos estadísticos como coeficientes de Pearson, prueba chi cuadrado y métodos estadísticos más precisos como lo es el ANOVA, el cual fue de ayuda para analizar los datos de una forma más exacta. Los resultados obtenidos en las pruebas dieron razón a que las personas encuestadas en el test A Priori y en el test A Posteriori dieron mayor calificación a las muestras de audio binaural sobre el estéreo, y que el conocimiento técnico y la familiaridad eran parámetros independientes que no tenían relación directa con la preferencia de audio.

Deepening the relationships between music and the built environments, analyzing how they can influence the musical development of people with hearing disabilities, all this through the spaces destined for creation and, reciprocally, how would the specific characteristics of each place in the different modes and learning styles that can be implemented with this population, highlighting the importance of all the senses in the perception of space, thus eliminating any existing barrier as it is the fact of not having the sense of listening. It will also be addressed, by the hand of a group of speakers who have spoken and reflected on the matter and will be used as a reference to review the history of music, to show the integrating areas of these two arts. In addition, it is evident that musical learning needs a space to achieve its fullness. Architects must transcend in the development of their discipline for their humanistic aptitude and, beyond designing, it is necessary to develop the ability to influence in a different way, thinking simultaneously for each place and specific use, all due to the special conditions of the population served within the project. Bearing in mind that musicians with hearing disabilities require propitious spaces that increase and allow them to be more effective in learning and development, where their limitation is left aside. The concepts put forward by the architect P. Zumthor with their book "Atmosferas" are taken as the main reference, which offered a key parallel as a design structure at the time of intervention and creation of musical spaces that encourage the full development of music or music. musicians and that prompted propitious solutions for them
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoLa psicomotricidad fina a través del dibujo rítmico en los niños de transición B del colegio Ana María Janer(2019) Herrera Valdez, Leidy Juliana; Zapata Taborda, Mariana; Cortés Carmona, Diana MarcelaThe present degree work is focused on strengthening the fine psychomotor skills through the strategy of rhythmic drawing, which was utilized on kids whose ages ranged from 5 to 6, which is a phase that is characterized through the learning of the handwriting. During the investigation, children participating were looked upon to achieve the following goals. First, identifying the weaknesses relating to fine psychomotor skills, this is intended to create methodological strategies through rhythmic painting that will stimulate the fine psychomotor skills and lastly, to carry out a comparative analysis of the obtained results, showing the advantages that the rhythmic painting brings to the fine psychomotor skills enhancement; it is also important to take note of the fact that qualitative methodology being used on what was mentioned above (based on a phenomenological focus) allows the reunion of a teorical and a practical part of the information so the results of the investigation can be obtained. With these activities that integrate music and psychomotor techniques, a change of the students’ environment was made, which led them to get out of their routinely daily habits and have fun while learning new things and working with different materials compared to those they frequently used, with this experiment they slowly showed enhancements when it comes to painting, drawing and handwriting, it was also showable some other factors like more permanency, continuity, the kids were less tired when working, and they were faster when they had to perform psychomotor activities and they also got a better attentional focus

Tiene en consideración de dos episodios significativos: el exterminio en los campos de concentración del nacionalsocialismo ambientado con la música de Richard Wagner y el llamado al ahogamiento de marineros en el poema épico la Odisea, con el canto de las sirenas. El propósito de este ejercicio interpretativo es esbozar algunos significados de la función mediadora de la música a partir del análisis de la última forma de mediación cultural posible: la conducción a la muerte.
