The aim of this research is to describe through a series of cases, neuropsychological and neuropsychiatric characteristics of five adolescents whose have suffered infringement due to sexual exploitation that are linked to an administrative process of restoration of rights, under the protection of the ICBF in the modality: internshipin the institution Asperla in the city of Medellín.The test used to describe neuropsychiatric disorders was the International Neuropsychiatric Interview for Children and AdolescentsMINI-KIDS and for the neuropsychological evaluation, was applied a protocol that included: Copy and Memory Reproduction Test of the Rey Complex Geometric Figure,Symbol and Digit Test (DSMT), D2 Attention Test, Trail MarkigTest (TMTA-B)Ardila’s Verbal Memory Curve, Token Test, Verbal Fluency Test (FAS), Colors and Words Test Stroop and Wisconsin Cards. To obtain the IQ was applied K-BIT test, which measures verbal and non-verbal intelligence (fluid and crystallized).Failures in executive functions are evident in specific conflict tasks. In the Stroop Tests, lower performance in the Wisconsin test, tasks to maintain the start, Wsct category, Wsct errors, perseveration, conceptual responses. - PublicaciónAcceso abiertoFactores de riesgo y protección asociados a la salud mental de los estudiantes universitarios(2019) Garzón Giraldo, Vanessa; Montoya Arenas, David AndrésThe purpose of this work was to conduct a documentary review of research related to the mental health of Ibero-American college students, published between 2010 and 2018, afterwards, thus gathering the biopsychosocial aspects that are part of protective factors and influential predisposing factors on development of psychopathological pictures, such as: addictions, anxiety, depression and suicidal behaviors; found in the EBSCO, SciencieDirect, Pubmed, Springer, Redalyc and Dialnet databases. In the results, the main predisposing factor is avoidant coping behaviors against different stress situations; and as protective factors are highlighted interpersonal relationships, self-care habits such as exercise, sleep and healthy eating, different behaviors that are part of the spheres of vital functioning. The findings of this article can contribute to the development of intervention strategies that seek to modify the predisposing factors and promote programs that favor the knowledge and strengthening of protective factors of mental health in university students.
