It is based on the idea that in the stages of musical and instrumental initiation, it is important to favor the instrumental knowledge that allows the child, young or adult to incline towards an instrument or find the one that in a certain way favors him/her the most, to apply later the knowledge acquired during the musical initiation or sensitization, in the interpretation of the stated instrument. In order to carry out the comparative exercise of the different programs, it is begun with the documentation delivered by the schools, in which it is recognized the offer of programs, the attended ages, the way students' interests are taken into account and the strategies to develop the sensory-auditory, perceptual motor, grammar and conceptual, instrumental, vocal, and socio-affective aspects. - PublicaciónAcceso abiertoImaginarios sociales en torno al músico profesional en Cali : apuntes para pensar una nueva escuela(Universidad de San Buenaventura, 2014) Castaño Duque, Daiana Andrea; Morán Madrid, Jorge Antonio; Quijano Valencia, OlverProfessional musicians in Colombia have an increasingly reduced space; the new graduates face a restricted professional field, commonly having to exercise their profession in different ways from those promised by their education, which is based in a model –conservatory– foreign to their territory and distant from their symbolic place. In this way, the present study bases in Cornelius Castoriadis’ theory of social imaginary as an axiomatic starting point that allow us to glimpse the forms, significations and representations that exists around academic music and the professional musician as a subject of this, thus pretending to understand, from a descriptive and interpretative study, the imaginaries in two groups: those who are inside de conservatory model and those who deviate from it, therefore perceiving in their discourse links and tensions the social role that is attributed to academic music and the professional musician. This study is about trying to understand a contemporary social phenomenon that accounts the particularities of a given context –Santiago de Cali city– but that at the same time is referent subject knowledge to reflect about professional music education in Colombia.

However, the main objective of this work is to present the Rap as an innovative educational proposal, which extends the possibilities of teachers regarding the instruments they use for daily teaching in their classrooms. In the first instance, I will describe the proposal that I intend to implement and follow it, I describe the context in which my educational intervention was carried out. Then I take a tour of the different documents that are approaching in the idea of implementing the musical genre Rap, and its contributions in terms of its advantages and successes in the educational field. Then I gather general information about what is Hip Hop and its history, a point that seems relevant to me to know more about this culture that gives us some interesting elements, such as rap, for the beneficial use of society. But before, I get to know the problematic that concerns this educational proposal and posing some objectives for the solution of said problematization.
