    Industrialized and globalized world which takes place in the present day requires care and good use of the natural resources which we have nowadays, due to the overexploitation that the humans have undergone earth in all of their productive activity performance. Thus, this article pretends to highlight the responsibilities that the high educational institutions have for instructing new professionals in environmental friendly practices, adopting the green logistic as a base for a transition to a sustainable economy. to reach that purpose, a bibliographical searching was done allowing to meet the state of the art, some Green trends and the position of the academy facing this issue, for by analysis and critic, suggest an interdisciplinary academic program creation that allows from the entrepreneur sciences, make a contribution to the processes optimization and natural sources conservations. As a result of this review, were evidenced that not only in Colombia, but also in Latin America, the study offers in environmental thematic and practices of clean production is limited, bringing as a result region countries low competitiveness compared to production, storage, transport, resources and waste management that leading nations have, which reveals a general delay and an opportunity to develop a comprehensive degree, in the training of high quality personnel that could grant a breath to the planet.

    Producción limpia: una nueva mirada para hacer negocios de las empresas en Colombia

    El presente trabajo plantea que debido a que en la actualidad se observa un constante crecimiento de requisitos tanto de los mercados internacionales como de los clientes que cada vez están más informados, donde la sociedad se empezó a preocupar además del cuidado ambiental afectado enormemente por las industrias y el mismo consumismo, la producción limpia puede convertirse en la herramienta propicia para concertar negocios y enfrentarse competitivamente al mercado local y extranjero. Por esto se busca a través del presente trabajo identificar las perspectivas de algunas empresas colombianas para aplicar un programa de producción limpia como estrategia para encaminarse hacia oportunidades que le permitan un crecimiento sostenible.
