Current prison strategies are analyzed and a model for the development of internal activities is proposed, accompanied by a prison model that seeks to reduce the high rate of recidivism in inmates who have committed minor crimes, this population has one of the highest rates The fragmentation of the model penitentiary would be located in buildings in a state of abandonment in the center of the city of Medellín, this strategy opts for a re-socialization directly with society itself with fragments of programs distributed in the city and not isolated from it.

To this end, forty-five (45) men were interviewed and evaluated, from a sample of two hundred (200) men prosecuted for the crime of domestic violence, in this process relevant information was obtained on the socio-demographic characteristics of these perpetrators, cognitive distortions related to violence against women, as well as their personality characteristics and clinical indicators; that when analysed together showed a clear risk of recidivism and in addition, it was possible to establish the relationship between levels of risk of death and some risk factors for recidivism present in the sample of men.
