- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoAproximación al conocimiento de las representaciones sociales que construye el niño ciego en el conocimiento de sí mismo y de su entorno(Universidad de San Buenaventura, 2015) Arciniegas Morera, María Fernanda; Rodríguez Mora, ManuelaThis article presents an approach to knowledge of social representations that the blind child arises on the knowledge of self and their environment. This study corresponds to a qualitative analysis where privilege non-participant observations in the classroom context and participant observations in curricular activities outside the classroom are privileged; besides, a ludic activity designed for the collection of information is proposed. As results of the study, it was found that blind children build social representations in the knowledge of self and their environment, using elements such as: the symbolization of objects and/or realities from the body, the plurifunctionality of the voice, the use of language, the body representation as an act that allows them to understand narrated stories, the symbolic game and the creation of words as a way of referring to knowledge building of the environment. It is concluded that the social representations in blind children in the knowledge of self and their environment are given from the articulation of collective and subjective experience that is put into play the symbolic capacity, which allows blind children be generators of social interactions as subjects able to think and create sense of self and the surrounding medium.

Inicia su construcción con un equipo de investigadores del Grupo Cognición y Desarrollo Representacional, del Centro de Investigaciones de la Universidad del Valle, que articula diversos grupos tales como el Grupo de Investigación en Evaluación y Calidad de la Educación (Giece); el Grupo Educación, el Grupo Desarrollo Cognitivo, Aprendizaje y Enseñanza, y el Grupo Cognición y Educación. Así mismo, en su preparación involucra los tres programas de doctorado en psicología de la región: el de la Universidad del Valle, el de la Universidad de San Buenaventura Cali y el de la Pontificia Universidad Javeriana de Cali. En el primero de ellos se formaron los autores y aprendieron que los sistemas dinámicos no lineales pueden ser un camino conceptual y metodológico para abordar el estudio del desarrollo cognitivo. Los distintos trabajos que conforman los capítulos del libro se adscriben a los sistemas dinámicos no lineales, que ofrecen una conceptualización innovadora para pensar la psicología del desarrollo en general y el desarrollo cognitivo en particular. Esta tarea pionera y comprometida del grupo, se concreta en avances significativos en el uso de metodologías más acordes con los principios conceptuales asumidos.

Describe the meanings that manage professionals in health and influence on the intervention or approach to suicidal patients. Method. Descriptive, qualitative and interpretative, based on interviews, projective tests, applied to three subjects Cali, Professional Nursing, Psychology and Psychiatry. Results. In the representations rescue the use of beliefs and emotional support, awareness about the scale of current values, in addition to the concealment of depression. According to the experiences the intervention is understood as an inter-space as well as the importance of developing a differentiated approach and work experience as a factor in the treatment of patients. And as conceptual frameworks, professionals have two pathological medical and other social perspectives to conceptualize the phenomenon, its disciplines take different paths to mitigate risks and awareness of professional ethics. Conclusions. Professionals perceive they are not sure to where their efforts can help mitigate the problems, the future seems uncertain but professionals still gather knowledge to improve their intervention, correct errors and reconsider its position as a subject that plays a role professional.
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoRepresentaciones sociales construidas alrededor del proyecto educativo desarrollado en un contexto penitenciario(Universidad de San Buenaventura, 2015) Narváez Rengifo, Yamileth; Ramírez Pérez, Martha LucíaThe present article approaches from the theory of the Social Representations, the construction of the daily reality that is generated in an educational penitentiary context from the knowledge that is offered in the classes; Bearing in mind the speech of the different actors who do part of this educational process: teachers, students, monitors and boards, for the above mentioned aim participative observations were realized and interview semistructured to a representative sample of each one of the actors involved in the educational project, The Above mentioned study allows to identify the level of knowledge that there have the actors involved on the educational process, and this since it influences the process of resocialization of the boarders demonstrated in the cognitive, affective and social mobilizations who are generated in them from the knowledge acquired in the classes and also the influence that has the penitentiary context in this process.

The methodology used was mixed, a survey and semi-structured interview was applied for teachers of law, psychology, management, political science and economics in various universities in the city, also was performed with a public official of the Social Welfare’s Secretariat of Santiago de Cali and an international public official of CEPAL. The systematization of the data was performed using the SPSS statistical software and main results obtained, the characterization of the role of the psychologist, directed closer to the implementation that the design of public policies same, likewise, both assumed and assigned role is unknown, immersed in a series of stereotypes that end in psychologizing of scientific knowledge and instrumentalization of vocational guidance in the field of public policy. Finally emphasis on the importance of interdisciplinarity as potentiator of the work of the psychologist in other settings is done.
