The purpose of this project was to develop a tool to perform these tasks based on the international standards ISO 16283 and ISO 717, parts 1 and 2 (evaluation of acoustic insulation to airborne and impact noise), using Python 2.7 as the main programming language and an agile development methodology known as Extreme Programming. This methodology allows developers to focus on iterative planning and programming of an application and unlike other development methodologies, makes these processes faster by avoiding the making of excessive documentation. Evaluation of this tool was done through statistical tests known as t-tests in order to verify the accuracy of the software results and through usability tests using SUMI surveys with the goal of measuring the user's perception and experience. The results were highly favorable; when comparing the calculations performed by the application with reference results acquired from other programs (CESVA Insulation Studio, Dr Jordan Design AkuLap, Brüel & Kjær QualifierType 7830 and Norsonic NorBuild). In no case the differences were not statistically significant. However, there are some individual differences for some frequency bands, the worst results were obtained for low frequency terms; these results were discussed

- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoCaracterización de fuentes de ruido al interior de un centro escolar para estimar el impacto producido dentro de una zona residencial, por medio del software SoundPLAN(2021) Velasquez Arcila, Katherine Andrea; Ochoa Villegas, JonathanThe following work consists of characterizing noise sources inside a school to estimate the impact produced within a residential area. There are currently few studies on the problem of noise emissions generated by leisure activities, such as academic activities. Similarly, in the municipality of Medellín, some institutions are receiving attention because of complaints from residents about the noise generated in these places. The objective of this project was to prepare noise maps where it could estimate the impact produced by noise sources that are found inside a building of an educational institution that is located in a residential area. The noise maps were estimated with different noise indicators, where the evaluated levels varied over time for each indicator. [1] To carry out the realization of these noise maps, a model of the building of the educational institution is made through the software SoundPLAN, where all the conditions contained within I.E are accommodated to assess the emission levels in order to determine the equivalent A-weighted continuous sound pressure level A ( LAeq,Tin the residential area, where T was determined for different periods in hours in order to estimate the impact with different indicators. Resolution 0627 of 7 April 2006 and the Colombian technical standard NTC 4595 for the evaluation and monitoring of noise from internal sources of the educational institution were taken as reference.

- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoComparación de algoritmos para la rotación del campo sonoro(2017) Hernández González, Daniel José; Murillo Gómez, Diego MauricioTaking into consideration that the human auditory system can perceive the sound in three dimensions, the location of a sound source, and its rotation in space, it is sought to establish a method, which, through signal processing and reproduction with headphones, emulates this effect on the auditor. It’s set a comparison of three different processing methods for rotation of the sound field in unit sphere. It is proposed to analyze these methods in an objective metric, exposing its advantages and limitations. This is done by the numerical calculation of an error given by each of the methods considered. The methods to compare are the following: Head Related Transfer Function (HRTF), Spherical Harmonic expansion and Vector Base Amplitude Panning (VBAP). In order to determine which of these methods provides a greater fidelity and, therefore, quality in the spatial audio processing. In addition, it is analized their practicality and computational efficiency, in which the last two methods become less practical, since these are initially intended for reproduction in loudspeakers arrays. For headphones reproduction, they depend on the first method. Finally, a model is proposed that improves the limitations.

- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoDiseño e implementación de un mecanismo ETL para nutrir la plataforma VIVO de la universidad de San Buenaventura(Universidad de San Buenaventura, 2017) González Castro, Carlos Andrés; González Jiménez, Edwin Guillermo; Segovia Jiménez, Emilia RocíoAt the University of San Buenaventura, there is a need to increase the visibility at an international level of scientific and/or technological productions developed by the professionals of the university, in order to facilitate the participation of the university in innovation processes worldwide. Semantic web is a concept that allows users to find answers quickly and easily to their questions thanks to the better structuring of information. VIVO is a semantic web platform where information is gathered from researchers worldwide. This allows the discovery of the technical knowledge of multiple disciplines through the professional profiles linked to the platform. This is the main reason of the born of the proposal to develop a web platform that facilitates the integration and exchange of information of professionals who have enrolled their curriculum on the CvLAC platform or in the system of CV of the University. Being registered in the CvLAC platform represents visibility as a professional because that means to being part of the Colciencias database, but CvLAC is not dynamic enough nor does it have a stable connection. Therefore, this project presents a tool that allows us to provide visibility to our university. This will be achieved using the information that the members of the LIDIS group have on the Colciencias platform and/or the university's CV system, and then publish it on the VIVO semantic platform.
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoDiseño y automatización de un sistema para las mediciones de la velocidad del sonido en tejidos de peces(2020) Echeverri Zea, Laura; Ochoa Villegas, JonathanIn this project we disigned a in this project a software was designed for the automatization of the speed of sound c measurements in tissue. With this software measurements of c were carried in water and soft tissue of Atlantic makerel (Scomber scombrus) using the Emitter-Receiver method with Airmar P319 transducers. An average c is found for the calibration set-up of 1502.75m / s with an error of 1.2%, compared with the calculated value, for the soft tissue and average of c 1583.1m / s is measured with an error of 0.8%. For the quality analysis of the signals, three parameters were studied, Total harmonic distortion (THD), for which acceptable values are found below 1.25%, the second parameter is the Zero-Crossing Rate for which the maximum acceptable value is 0.26 and finally the third chosen parameter refers to the error between the first harmonic of the receiving signal vs. the frequency emitted from the generator, for this the acceptable range found is between 1% and 13%
