- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoDesarrollo de autopartes aplicando conceptos de economía circular para la industria automotriz en la ciudad de Medellín(2019) Gutiérrez Ramírez, Felipe; Marroquín Sierra, Carolina; Herreño Téllez, ElisabethCurrently one of the most important and contributing industries for the country is the automotive and auto parts industry, particularly the growth of this sector in relation to motorcycles, according to ANDI (2018) as of March 2018, 125,794 motorcycles were registered, of which 95 % is CKD (Completely Knock Down) material assembled in Colombia, the remaining 5% are CBU (Completely Built Up) motorcycles; This industry has a great responsibility that is not dealt with in a decisive way, which is the environmental issue related to the excessive disposal of solid waste resulting from productive activities. Given this panorama, it is appropriate to propose solutions that address comprehensive models of environmental impact reduction such as the circular economy, accompanied by initiatives related to the development of products for the mitigation of the carbon footprint that they leave at the end of their life cycle. This implies integrating in an objective way the development of new products designed as systems that are formally and functionally consistent for each motorcycle to which it is designed, without neglecting that they are redesigned so that their useful life is much longer. The project is based on the experiences observed in a local company responsible for the design and production of motorcycle accessories from national integration (Percentage of locally manufactured parts that go on a motorcycle assembled in Colombia). The project involves the category of motorcycle accessories scotters (Agility 3.0 and GO) such as windbreakers, sliders and side shields. Regarding the selected material, it is evident that (i) the elastomeric material (rubber) wasted in the production cycles is presented in considerable quantities in these industries and (ii) the benefits obtained from the properties of the material are compatible with the functional needs of the current auto parts accessories, needs found since the investigation, where it is observed that many of these accessories have a limited cycle and with the use of this reintegrated material, it is intended to prolong the useful life much longer. In addition to reintroducing auto parts waste and providing economic benefits to industry and users, it is also intended to raise awareness among potential buyers
Y C(2018-09-28) Lozano Escorcia, Yon Jader; Meléndez Cuentas, Eucaris Isabel; Acosta Castro, Juan GabrielThe Bazurto market, Cartagena's main supply center, as well as all the market places, produces large volumes of solid waste, which contribute to environmental pollution and the environmental deterioration of the sector, given the effect of the air due to bad odors generated by the contamination of solid organic waste, landscaping, water by the discharge of these to the sewerage system, which has a negative impact on communities, given that they cause health problems and deteriorate their standard of living. This environmental problem, caused by pollution from the mismanagement of solid waste, involves communities and political decisions, which are often controversial and therefore very difficult to resolve, however a responsibility and knowledge must be assumed. the possibilities that exist to protect and improve the environment. According to Durán (sf), in a study carried out by ECLAC (Environmental Policies and Sustainable Development), the main actors of the waste policy are the government, businessmen and the population, the latter being the most determining , due to its demands for a better quality of life, which forces governments and businessmen to seek7 solutions to problems, based, today, on legal aspects where a regulatory framework is established with laws, regulations and norms that regulate the behavior of the economic agents and of the population and at the same time the control and supervision activities of public institutions with some responsibility in this matter
