New tourists demand not only new tourism products, but also seek life experiences. Hence, the natural and cultural spaces of the different regions and countries that focus on tourism should structure a model that provides all the tourist services demanded by the market and especially by visitors. Colombia these surround resources and attractions, natural and cultural. This research aims to analyze one of the communities that possesses these resources and project a social economy model that offers an effective functioning, which becomes a basis for economic development. Within the Colombian territory, we have focused on the Antioquia region, where the Antioquia Railway, which has many of its stations and roads in good condition, has been recognized and declared as cultural heritage. The question is what can we do with this cultural and architectural heritage? That is the basis of the research work presented below
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoTurismo sostenible en Urabá(2017) Padilla Hernández, Alison Andrea; Otálora Victoria, Indira Melina; Sepúlveda, Wilmar MauricioThe present article is carried out as a graduation project by students of tourism business administration, of the Faculty of business science of the University of San Buenaventura, where a State of the art was previously held for the research project "Model of sustainable tourism management for Urabá by integrating the value chain and the lifeblood, as a contribution to the peace process that is taking place in the region" by the universities: Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, Universidad de San Buenaventura, and the Universidad Santo Tomas, which aims at creating a model of sustainable tourism management for Urabá; Considering the state of the art mentioned above, is this article focuses on sustainable tourism, in order to establish whether the sub region of Urabá is a sustainable destination; The research is based on literary analysis and interviews, which is given to sustainable tourism as an agent that minimizes environmental damage and maximizing the economic benefits.
