Abstract
The prospective study of the village Puerto Garza, located in San Carlos (Antioquia), looking to contribute to the social, economic and cultural development of the territory, to create a basic analysis for the design of a Tourism Development Plan, which guides the projects that will be realized in the future years. A prospective study proposes to identify possibles scenarios in the short, medium and longer term, according to the factors of change or important variables that influence the dynamics of the territory, the tourist tendencies, the threats and the future expected by the actors. The variables were selected according to the factors of the Conventional Plan of Tourism (Plan Convencional de Turismo), proposed by the Ministerio de Comercio Industria y Turismo, classifying them by Attraction, Support, Production and Management, and realizing an analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of Puerto Garza and its environment. The stakeholders with major participation and influence were identified, and possible future scenarios were defined through participatory studies. The data collected was valued using the software MIC MAC for the variables, MACTOR for the stakeholders and Smic-Prob-Expert for the possible futures.

A través del estudio prospectivo turístico del corregimiento Puerto Garza, ubicado en San Carlos (Antioquia), se busca contribuir al desarrollo social, económico y cultural del territorio, plantear un análisis de base para diseñar un Plan de Desarrollo Turístico, que guíe los proyectos que se realizarán en los años futuros. Un estudio prospectivo se propone identificar posibles escenarios a corto, mediano y largo plazo, según los factores de cambio o variables importantes que influyen en las dinámicas del territorio, las tendencias turísticas, las amenazas y el futuro esperado por los actores. Las variables identificadas fueron seleccionadas según los factores del Plan Convencional de Turismo, propuesto por el Ministerio de Comercio, Industria y Turismo (MinCIT), clasificándolas en atracción, soporte, producción y gestión, realizando un análisis de las fortalezas y debilidades de Puerto Garza y su entorno. Se identificaron los actores con mayor participación e influencia, y a través de estudios participativos se definieron posibles escenarios futuros. La información recolectada fue valorada a través del software MIC MAC para las variables, MACTOR para los actores y Smic-Prob-Expert para los posibles futuros.
