Abstract
The starting point of this research is the experiences of mourning of the researchers; mourning associated with the death of loved ones, where as a consequence, not only lives are transformed, but spaces and the arrangement of objects in them. Going through the space and make the objects present, little by little the interest was turning to what they harbor: voices, smells, textures, and others. What also led to the researchers to trace artistic and theoretical works, to initiate a process of experimentation with audiovisual recording and to recompose the concept of object insensitive materialities. Consistent with experimentation and epistemological foundation, the research gave a light on how the sensible materialities took so much strength in this process, that allowed to conclude among others that, with the "absence" of the body-flesh of the loved ones, their presence is enhanced in the materialities, making them, with their different modes of existence have a life of their own.

El punto de partida de esta investigación, son las experiencias de duelo en las investigadoras; duelo asociado a la muerte de seres queridos, donde como consecuencia, no solo las vidas se transforman, sino los espacios y la disposición de los objetos en estos. Recorrer el espacio y hacer presentes los objetos, hizo que poco a poco el interés fuera tornándose hacia lo que ellos albergan: voces, olores, texturas, y otros. Lo que además llevó a las investigadoras a rastrear obras artísticas y teóricas, a iniciar un proceso de experimentación con registro audiovisual y a recomponer el concepto de objeto en materialidades sensibles. Consecuente con la experimentación y la fundamentación epistemológica, la investigación dio a luz cómo las materialidades sensibles tomaron tanta fuerza en este proceso, que permitieron concluir entre otras que, con la “ausencia” del cuerpo-carne de los seres queridos, su presencia se potencia en las materialidades, haciendo que estas mismas, con sus diferentes modos de existencia tengan vida propia.
