Abstract
Starting from the background, there are few research that have sought to understand the imaginaries that boys and girls have about sexuality. Therefore, the overall objective of this research is to analyze the imaginaries that boys and girls have about sexuality from the imaginary of teachers, and that way, knowing how much the teachers intervene on this process. And for getting results, it inquires both, the students and teachers imaginaries about sexuality to be able to explain them; making an intervention in the educational institution Francisco Miranda - Julio Arboleda with a total sample of the population of 16 children and 4 teachers, using a methodology of qualitative character with a hermeneutic approach.The results obtained with the application of the techniques, yielded very valuable and definitive data for this research, providing a solution to the problematizing question posed where it was identified that the teacher’s imaginaries influence on the construction of the children imaginaries about sexuality, but it is in the relationship with their peers, their family and the different contexts where such construction is taking place, they are building it according to what live outside the institution

Partiendo de los antecedentes, son escasas las investigaciones que han buscado comprender los imaginarios que poseen los niños y niñas respecto a la sexualidad. Es por eso que el objetivo general de esta investigación es analizar los imaginarios que tienen los niños y las niñas sobre la sexualidad a partir de los imaginarios de los maestros, y así saber que tanto intervienen los maestros en este proceso. Para obtener los resultados, se indaga tanto los imaginarios de los estudiantes como de los docentes respecto a la sexualidad, para así poder explicarlos; mediante la realización de intervenciones en la institución educativa Francisco Miranda- seccional Julio Arboleda. Se trabajó con una muestra total de la población de 16 niños (as) y 4 docentes, utilizando una investigación de carácter cualitativo con un enfoque hermenéutico. Los resultados obtenidos con la aplicación de las técnicas, arrojaron datos muy valiosos y definitivos para esta investigación, brindando solución a la pregunta problematizadora planteada donde se identificó que los imaginarios de los docentes influyen en la construcción de los imaginarios de los niños acerca de la sexualidad, pero es en la relación con sus pares, su familia y los diferentes contextos en donde se está dando dicha construcción, es decir, ellos lo van construyendo de acuerdo a lo que viven por fuera de la institución
