Abstract
This work makes an approach to the understanding of the construction of sexuality in a subject, how culture, history and biology are involved in the process of choosing sexual orientation, and the importance of the different situations that occur throughout life, which leave exceptional marks in the psychic structure and how these are related in the determinations established by each subject, without leaving behind the importance of the previous and new narratives around the different sexual orientations as a life choice, and the role played by the mental health professional in the different ways of intervening in each person, respecting his or her particularity, although nowadays for the health system these clinical criteria are not of major importance, since it seems that the ideal of mental health does not allow people to function from their rarity and particularities but rather obliges the subject to fit into an idea of mental well-being that seems increasingly impossible to achieve, leaving the subject without the possibility of recognizing himself or herself, in order to reach the established illusion of mental health. Leaving in the background the perspective that our rarities and choices do not represent, nor do they point to any kind of pathology or abnormality, therefore, they are themes that are inscribed in each subject based on singular representations. It is important to highlight that the case study you will read below attempts to approach Freudian thought, drawing on Freud's enormous intellectual work on the subject.

Este trabajo realiza una aproximación a la comprensión de la construcción de sexualidad en un sujeto, como están involucradas la cultura, la historia y la biología en el proceso de elección sobre la orientación sexual, y, la importancia de las diferentes situaciones ocurridas a lo largo de la vida, las cuales dejan marcas excepcionales en la estructura psíquica y como estas se relacionan en las determinaciones establecidas por cada sujeto, sin dejar atrás la importancia de las anteriores y nuevas narrativas alrededor de las diferentes orientaciones sexuales como elección de vida, y el papel que juega el profesional de la salud mental en las diferentes formas de intervenir a cada persona, respetando su particularidad, aunque hoy en día para el sistema de salud estos criterios clínicos no tengan mayor importancia, ya que pareciera que el ideal de salud mental no permitiese a las personas funcionar desde sus rarezas y particularidades sino que más bien obliga al sujeto a encajar en un una idea de bienestar mental que pareciera ser cada día más imposible de alcanzar, dejando al sujeto sin la posibilidad de reconocerse así mismo, para poder llegar a la ilusión de salud mental establecida. Dejando en un segundo plano la perspectiva de que nuestras rarezas y elecciones no representan, ni apuntan ningún tipo de patología o anormalidad, por lo tanto, son temas que están inscriptos en cada sujeto a partir de representaciones singulares. Es importante resaltar que el estudio de caso que leerán a continuación intenta acercarse al pensamiento freudiano, acudiendo a el enorme trabajo intelectual de Freud entorno al tema.
