Abstract
Currently the city of Medellin has several centers and animal foundations to improve the quality of life for animals through adoption, daily, these centers are approached by people looking for the possibility of including a pet in their homes, they must go through a process in which it is determined if they are qualified or not to have the animal, However, in many occasions, adopters make the decision to adopt without a deep and conscious reflection about the commitment they are going to assume with the animal, having as a consequence the abandonment of these pets after being adopted, increasing in this way the number of animals in the streets of the city. An analysis of the different aspects and commitments that people must take before making the choice of adopting was made, including: the space, the time available, the money that must be invested to supply the needs of the pet and ensure its wellbeing. To solve this situation, a service was developed that is present in the different phases involved in the adoption process, allowing users to adopt through an application that generates a match with a dog from a foundation in the city by creating profiles, these profiles are created by asking questions related to the lifestyle of the users and the characteristics of the dogs that are in the foundations, the service in turn provides assistance for the adaptability of the dog in its new home.

Actualmente la ciudad de Medellín cuenta con diversos centros y fundaciones que tienen como fin mejorar la calidad de vida de los animales por medio de la adopción, diariamente, a estos centros se acercan personas buscando la posibilidad de incluir una mascota en su hogar ,se debe pasar por un proceso en el cual se determina si son aptos o no para tener el animal, pero en muchas ocasiones, los adoptantes toman la decisión de adoptar sin una profunda reflexión consciente acerca del compromiso que van a asumir con el animal, teniendo como consecuencia el abandono de estas mascotas después de ser adoptados, aumentando así el número de animales en las calles de la ciudad. Se realizó un análisis de los diferentes aspectos y compromisos que las personas deben tener en cuenta antes de tomar la decisión de adoptar, como: el espacio, el tiempo disponible, el dinero que se debe invertir para suplir las necesidades de la mascota y así asegurar su bienestar. Para mejorar esta situación ,se desarrolló un servicio que está presente en las diferentes etapas de la adopción, permitiendo a los usuarios adoptar por medio de una aplicación que genera un emparejamiento con un perro de alguna fundación de la ciudad a través de la creación de perfiles, dichos perfiles se crean por medio de preguntas relacionadas al estilo de vida de los usuarios y las características de los perros que están en las fundaciones, el servicio a su vez permite brindar asesoramiento para la adaptabilidad del perro en su nuevo hogar.
