Abstract
This document describes the research exercise carried out by three teachers in relation to the analysis of the curriculum of the Municipal Educational Institution (IEM) Liceo Integrado and the elements that indicate the implementation of the Basic Learning Rights (DBA) of Natural Sciences in sixth grade. It is based on a documentary review of the educational standards in force in Colombia, through a tour of the pedagogical and curricular foundations between the preschool, elementary and middle school levels, their relationship and comparison with the study plans of the Municipal Educational Institution Liceo Integrado, to verify the inclusion of the Basic Learning Rights within the educational process, ensuring that the institution, from its contextual particularity, is applying what is established by the Ministry of National Education (MEN), through a qualitative approach and a documentary research. By means of a critical analysis and through the research process, it can be concluded that, in the institutional documents, such as the Institutional Educational Project (PEI), the Natural Sciences curriculum and the sixth-grade curriculum of the institution, there is a partial approach to the elements proposed from the DBA, which allows recommending the revision of the documents of the other areas and the complete restructuring by the school.

Este documento describe el ejercicio investigativo realizado por tres docentes en relación al análisis del plan de estudios de la Institución Educativa Municipal (IEM) Liceo Integrado y los elementos que indican la implementación de los Derechos Básicos de Aprendizaje (DBA) de Ciencias Naturales en grado sexto. Se parte de la revisión documental de las normas educativas vigentes en Colombia, mediante un recorrido de los fundamentos pedagógicos y curriculares entre los niveles de preescolar, básica y media, su relación y comparación con los planes de estudio de la Institución Educativa Municipal Liceo Integrado, para comprobar la inclusión de los Derechos Básicos de Aprendizaje dentro del proceso educativo, garantizando que la institución, desde su particularidad contextual se encuentre aplicando lo establecido por el Ministerio de Educación Nacional (MEN), a través de un enfoque cualitativo y una investigación de carácter documental. Por medio de un análisis crítico y mediante el proceso investigativo se puede concluir que, en los documentos institucionales, tales como el Proyecto Educativo Institucional (PEI), el plan de estudios de Ciencias Naturales y la malla Curricular de grado sexto de la institución existe un abordaje parcial de los elementos planteados desde los DBA, lo que permite recomendar la revisión de los documentos de las demás áreas y la restructuración completa por parte del Plantel
