Abstract
The insurance contract road freight transport in Colombia, in the light of Article 1077 of the Commercial Code, indicates that the insured shall demonstrate the occurrence of the claim and the amount of loss, if applicable. Thus at the time of the claim by the insured, with the insurer, for the respective payment of compensation, but should demonstrate the two circumstances mentioned in Article 1077 of the Commercial Code.

El contrato de seguro de transporte terrestre de carga en Colombia, a la luz del artículo 1077 del Código de Comercio, indica que corresponderá al asegurado demostrar la ocurrencia del siniestro, así como la cuantía de la pérdida, si fuere el caso. De esta manera en el momento de la reclamación por parte del asegurado, ante la aseguradora, para el respectivo cobro de la indemnización, solamente debería demostrar las dos circunstancias indicadas en el artículo 1077 del Código de Comercio.
