En el siguiente texto se analiza la naturaleza de la discusión que establece el archivo ciudad educadora, concluyéndose que esta es fundamentalmente de tipo ideológico. Se señala que hay poca reflexión sobre los presupuestos de los que ha partido –estos no justificados ni racionalizados filosófica o científicamente– primordialmente por encontrarse la iniciativa en una fase muy incipiente que no ha permitido aplicar sobre sí misma los principios y valores críticos que busca defender y no porque haya sido formalizada en 1990, en el encuentro celebrado en Barcelona.

The following text discusses the nature of the discussion that sets the document educating city, concluded that this is fundamentally ideological. It is noted that there is little analysis of the budgets-which have not been justified nor analyzed either philosophically or scientifically-primarily because the idea is in a very nascent stage that has not permitted the application of the principles and critical values that it is supporting, not necessarily because it was formalized in 1990, in the meeting held in Barcelona.
