In Antioquia there are many types of food preparation, including cooking with firewood. This type of preparation is well known in rural areas where women are very involved. It is usually the basis for food preparation in households and, eventually, for commercial activities; however, this practice has negative consequences for the health of its users, mainly women in the household. That said, in the present work a research is carried out in which the health risks to which the users are exposed during the preparation of food with wood stoves are analyzed, alternatives of biomass cooking systems are explored and wood burning systems are validated to mitigate the harmful emissions for the user and the environment. The aim is to develop a firewood stove for homes located in rural contexts, which prevents users from inhaling smoke and particles that are harmful to health during the cooking of food. The in-depth knowledge of the activity of cooking on wood stoves is based on field work in which visits are made to homes in different areas of Antioquia such as the village of Santo Domingo Antioquia and the municipality of Guatapé Antioquia; reinforcing the collection of information with ethnographic instruments to know with greater specificity the development of the practice. The importance of this work is based on social and environmental health factors, since the intention is to reduce respiratory affections associated with the inhalation of emissions during the preparation of food in wood stoves in rural contexts, and to reduce the negative environmental impact generated due to the expulsion of toxic emissions into the environment. Finally, it is recognized that, although there are projects in Antioquia that seek to solve this problem, the coverage they provide does not solve it in its entirety and they also have a negative environmental impact. This is the reason why the proposal of this project has a great differential value by integrating new technologies that avoid the inhalation of toxic emissions and the expulsion of these into the environment.

Currently, due to confinement and social distancing, children are living another study methodology supported by virtuality. But a bad use of technology can bring negative repercussions in children, such as making them less curious and leaving aside activities that help them to improve their cognitive development since at this stage symbolic capacities are developed (Piaget, 1962), this project is aimed at children between 5 and 7 of the city of Medellin, equivalent to 8.6% of the population and, specifically, to homes of stratum 3 and 4. Consequently, the project aims to design a service for the entertainment of children to stimulate creative processes from home during their free time, supported by a quantitative research, given the possibility of delving into personal aspects of direct users, the children, and indirect users, the parents, such as tastes, feelings and routines, identified through data collection tools such as surveys, observations, in addition to the corroboration of information with different professionals in the area such as psychologists and teachers to identify the cognitive processes of children and how confinement and virtual methodologies affect their creativity and how to stimulate it correctly at this age. From the data obtained in the field work, an ideation stage is proposed taking into account design opportunities, these ideas go through an evolution matrix that helps to choose the idea that best meets the requirements of the project, generating validations of the proposal supported by the development of prototypes. Finally, we propose a service that allows the child creative stimulation supported by the generation of graphic material, comics, which can be shared on the network to generate visibility and recognize the creations of other children promoting the good use of technological resources, this service will offer the child entertainment time at home, as they can do other activities encouraging creativity, having balance between the analog of drawing and the virtuality of sharing their comics

(2021) Montoya Morales, Ana Maria; Naranjo Cano, Maria Isabel
Gender roles are defined as the characteristics associated with the masculine and the feminine and how these separate people based on their birth sex into specific roles, limiting them to only being able to inhabit a single space, be it public or private. In Colombia there is still a very marked thought on what a man and a woman should or should not do, consequently, the masculinization and feminization of daily activities continues to be perpetuated, this same thought structure is still present in La Florida park, located in the municipality of Bello, the chosen place of study. The research was carried out from a mixed approach that allows identifying and documenting the problems around gender roles and that at the same time it is possible to discover how these problematic situations are experienced and interpreted by the community. This project aims to design a strategy that can help raise awareness and recognize gender roles through interactive activities. Likewise, it seeks to inform people through data about the activities that are mostly stigmatized for belonging to one of the two sexes. The result is the creation of an interactive and awareness-raising strategy called EqualG that is not only designed to be carried out in a specific place, but can also be replicated in different areas of the city where there is a marked problem associated with gender.
